Hey friends! My 30th birthday felt like as good a time as any to introduce myself to any new followers who may not know much about me. 2018 was a pivotal year; my wife Kat and I moved to the charming city of Milton with our cats and met our baby boy, Rylan, who has changed life drastically. It hasn't, however, taken my focus away from my passion of photographing awesome couples, families and authentic moments and relationships. The last 10 years of working in professional portraiture has flown by. I'm always challenging myself to learn and grow my craft because I love that I can tell a story through images that allow couples to relive their precious memories. When I'm not making people go from feeling uncomfortable to having fun in front of my lens, you can find me: drinking all of the coffee, watching garbage (but thoroughly entertaining) TV shows, paying extra for guac, rock climbing or sampling craft beers while playing board games with friends. I can't wait for the new adventures my 30s and fatherhood will bring and getting to capture and retell your stories through photos in 2019. Please feel free to reach out, whether just to say hello or to discuss how we can work together. Happy New Year! All the best in 2019! 🥂🎆🎉 #milton #miltonon #miltonontario #miltonwedding #miltonbride #miltonphotographer #miltonweddingphotographer #marriedinmilton
I've been a little MIA since baby bear was born, but it's been another amazing year, Instagram. Here are my #2018bestnine. Thanks for all the ❤s, friends! Here's to even more in 2019!
Before leaving The Guild Inn Estate on Tizanella & Anthony's rainy wedding day this summer, I had to capture the outside of the beautiful, recently renovated venue in Toronto, in the reflection of a large puddle. #guildinn #guildinnestate #guildinnwedding
During their wild reception, Leanne & Greg wanted a few quiet moments together to take it all in. They took a romantic stroll down the street from Elora Mill to reconnect before heading back in to party again. #EloraMill
It was fun capturing the quiet affection of Melissa & Kyle on a chilly evening in Toronto's liberty village.
Often the most meaningful parts of a wedding day happen in the quiet moments before or after the big spectacles of the day, when nobody's watching. You could feel the emotion in the room, as Leanne's mom and maid of honour help her get into her beautiful dress.
Sometimes you find a patch of sunlight on a shaded path and you have to create a moody portrait. That happened during Kelsee & Taylor's evening engagement shoot.
It was so much fun to hang out with Leanne & Greg on their wedding day at Elora Mill. All the rain and cold weather in the world could not have ruined such a beautiful wedding.
