Palm-trees, peace, passion and positivity 😋☀️👌🏾 . Taking a moment to celebrate and acknowledge my accomplishments, because self love is the best love, without it nothing will ever be enough.
The other day I went into a coffeeshop and I ordered a hot chocolate and coffee. When the bill came It only listed the coffee. I looked at it twice, realised it was wrong, said nothing and paid for just for the coffee. . I made a split second decision that went against my values. In that situation I did not act as a person of character. . Can you relate ? . I admire people who seem to always do the right thing, eventhough no one else is looking. I aspire to build more character and this books seems like a good place to start to do that. I think I make the decision to do the right thing 90% of the time (honestly) but there's a lot of room for improvement. . Anyway, so far this book is great and I recommend it. The author discusses how we can strengthen our weaknesses and behave like people with charector more often. . Key takeaways so far: 1) We all have weaknesses and we need support to strengthen them. We don't have to (and can't) do it alone. 2) Character is built in the moments where we feel tempted to do the wrong thing, but instead do what we know in our hearts is right. . Checkout my Instagram stories for more highlights. . #ActivateYourXellence . I'm going to start sharing the books I read here on Instagram and perhaps I'll write reviews and key takeaways on my blog which I'll be relaunching soon. We'll see.
Home is where the ❤️ is 😍 . My mum asked me the the other day when I'm going back to Europe. . Me: erm... yeah, about that... 👀😂
What does it mean to live a fulfilled life? . There are many ideas out in the wild, but a few years ago I listened to a man called Zig Ziglar talking about his ideas on fulfilment and I was intrigued. He introduced what he called “The Wheel of Life” and why he thought it was the answer to fulfilment. The concept is simple yet powerful: a fulfilled life is one where all the seven elements in the wheel above are being nurtured consistently. If one - or more - of the elements in the wheel are neglected then you’ll feel as though something is missing. . Happiness is a process not a destination. Making sure you’re satisfied in different areas of life is important. It’s hard to pay attention to everything and it’s easy to focus on one area of life and ignore others. . I’ve been using The Wheel of Life for a few years and I’ve found it to be a great tool to help me make decisions about how I spend my time and prioritise my attention. Of course, it’s a juggling act. I often find myself giving more attention to one area of life and neglecting another, but I recognise that when I review how I’m prioritising my time and energy in my journal (I’ve been keeping a journal since 2009). . The Wheel of Life is a great tool for personal growth and I’d like to share how I use it to make my own life fulfilling this year and beyond. I’ll reveal more here and my blog which I’ll be relaunching soon. . Life is all about growth. Those who don’t grow are already dead. Do you have a plan for growth? #ActivateYourXellence
There's a magical place in the north-east of Brazil where people are always bubbly, cheerful and friendly. The people find it hard to be sad and as a matter of fact they laugh about the things that are bad. Because laughter's a cure. That's wisdom for sure. And it's something I wish for you all. #PositiveVibes #PositivePeople #PositiveVibrations #Happiness #NegativityIsASickess 😷 #StopComplaining ✋🏾 #YoureMakingMeSick #ThatsWhyILaughAtYou 😂👀😂
