Too often we expect things on the outside to change in order for us to change. If everyone would stop complaining I’d be happier, if I lived here I’d be happier, if I had more money, or a smaller number on the scale I’d be happier. BUT we have it backwards. Until we change all of those things won’t change. Lately my world has changed ahead of me. We are facing a move in the middle of the school year. And the house I’ve made our home for 7 years is on the market. Everything about our life is changing and for me I have to change. I have to pull my head and heels out of the ground and release. My change needs to be in releasing. I need to learn that sometimes life doesn’t follow all the rules I have created and I must bend and flow with what comes my way.

So this weeks questions from my 5-year old: 1. How can an arm heal from a broken bone. 2. What color are cells? 3. Why can’t I see cells? 4. What time is it on your watch? At least that last one I am prepared to explain now. #kidquestions #gonnabegooglingalot
My favorite spot. New adventures for our family are making my days here numbered. But I have loved all the creations, learning, and life that has been created in this room. #bittersweet #nextsteponthejourney
