Power is out in my hood. When my laptop battery runs out I may have to read a book!
Can't believe the nasturtiums overwintered. Woo!
More gorgeous #roymckie lineart. This is from The Hair Book. This is from 1979 which explains that First Nations reference.
This has 61 pages which is kind of amazing for a picture book. This is the #vancouverpubliclibrary edition...from 1962. If I was going to steal one book it would be this one.😋
Learning how to model 3D objects in #fusion360. I'll print this at @vanhackspace.
Dirt cake. This is what happens when #kidlit illustrators make you a bday cake.
A middle-grade book by the amazing #garynorthfield about Julius Zebra, a Roman era zebra (who was not a stripey horse thank you very much) who trained to be a gladiator and fought to win his freedom. Hilarious and every word is true. #kidlitart #kidlit #juliuszebra
Rainbow trout drawing and colouring model in action! I hacked a fishing lure to make this for an upcoming book project. I hauled out all the hooks and mounted it on a bamboo skewer. The lure was 6 inches long and cost about 13 bucks. I still need to add a few more fins but this will do for now! #illustration #kidlitart
I made a drawing maquette of a rainbow trout out of a fishing lure and some Scotch tape. It went swimmingly. #illustration #kidlit #kidlitart
