“There is my heart, and then there is you, and I’m not sure there is a difference.” ❤️✨
Seriously wishing I was back in Montana and exploring! ✨ I haven’t posted on here in over a week because I hit the ground running the second I got back to Pennsylvania! So this is a small check in to say...Hey! I’m alive, I’m busy as heck, and I’m so thankful I get to wake up everyday serving the most incredible people! 🌲 Have a great Wednesday, everyone!
“Going to the mountains is going home.” 🏔🌲✨ Having a hard time finding the right words to describe my time spent in my favorite place, @glaciernps, with my better half. Let’s just say, my heart is incredibly full, my legs are so sore, I love waking up in a tent, and I’ve never felt more at peace than I do at this moment. I’m loving and beyond thankful for this chapter of my life. ❤️
I’ve seen a few new faces around here so I wanted to do an introduction but with a spin! So, one of my best friends, @abbeykrysiak, is leading this one! PSA: I didn’t prompt her with any of these, and I’m not sure how I got so lucky to have a friend like her in my life but I’m so thankful!✨ - Ever meet someone and think, “how have I not been friends with this person my entire life”? Because that is what went through my head meeting Jess. So, in the short time we have been BFFs, I’ve learned some amazing things about her: 1. She is EXTREMELY passionate about her work. Like, down to what her clients are wearing and feeling during the session. She is so detail oriented and when things come together during a session you can literally see her glowing with happiness. 2. Girl likes to travel. She loves the mountains. She loves adventures. She strives to not be contained in one space and I LOVE this about her. I only wish I could join her. 3. She likes to swear. I mean, I’m pretty sure this is why we are best friends. Cause “friends” is for sure our second favorite “f-word” 4. Her coffee obsession is ALMOST as insane as mine. We probably need therapy... in the form of more coffee. 5. When I need her, she is there 100%. She is reliable and honest. I feel so insanely lucky to have her around, and I’m positive her clients do to!! - ✨ Guys, your turn! I really want to know something about you!! Whether it’s a goal, a dream, or just something random! Share in the comments below!
Confession: This is hands down one of my favorite bridal images that I’ve ever taken and I’m so glad it’s one of my favorite girls! Megan, you are truly a beauty and I’m still on cloud nine that I got to capture your big day! I can’t wait to watch you and Ben grow old with one another! Here’s to the years ahead of you, may they be filled with so much love, laughter and, adventures! 🥂✨ #jessicahustedbrides
I love being able to work alongside one of my insanely talented best friends when it comes to creative projects. Abbey has been helping me with so many things lately and I’m beyond grateful. I can’t wait to see these lyrics in printed form which will then be apart of client gifts, I’m so excited! ✨ - Born to Love You - LANCO
4 reasons why I think every bride should at least consider wearing a veil on her wedding day! ⤵️ ✨ 1. It’s the PERFECT bridal accessory! Don’t want to wear a necklace or bracelet? Add a veil to help complete your look! The best part is you can always take it off to have portraits with and without it. 2. I love the way it creates an added layer in images. I get so excited during portrait sessions when clients really add in accessories and things to help make their outfits more interesting and I think the same goes for when brides chooses to wear a veil! 2. When I’m taking your detail shots (y’all know those are some of my fav from a wedding day), the veil is a perfect way to not only add in another detail but another layer which will make those shots will feel even more bridal, and more lighter & airer too! 3. A veil can be the perfect “something borrowed”. Maybe it’s your grandmothers, or your moms, either way it can be a beautiful way to tie in tradition and family heirlooms. 4. The amount of creative portraits you can take with a veil is amazing! This will help create more diversity in your images, and a different feel overall especially if you decide to take your veil off for additional photos. And the odds of me getting underneath your veil with you, are pretty dang high! Connie didn’t think anything of it when I decided to flip her veil overtop of her and got inside of it with her - you guys have to be on the look out for when I share that image of her! ✨ Brides, the options are endless on your wedding day when it comes to those perfect accessories and no matter what you choose, I know you’ll look breathtaking! Whether it’s a veil, a birdcage, a bridal hair clip or headband, or even a flower crown...go with what you’re most drawn to because they’re all a gorgeous option! Don’t be shy with what you choose, after all you’re on a bride once! ✨
Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m attempting to stay on track and get everything I need to get done today before I fly out tomorrow morning to see my better half! Can’t even wait to be back in Montana even if it is only for a couple weeks! ✨🌲 - What are you hoping to accomplish today? If you need any encouragement, send me a message and I’ll be sure to help give you that extra push! 🤗
These two got engaged in the Adirondacks so naturally I asked them if they wanted to do their engagement session at my favorite place, Kinzua! Beyond thankful this gorgeous, adventurous pair didn’t mind traveling over an hour for me! 🌲✨
Just a little PSA. While I married my bestfriend @nicksavoia my business name will always remain Jessica Husted Photography! I recently changed my name on my personal Facebook and I’ve been slightly freaking out ever since (I’ve got 60 freaking days until I can change it again) so I felt called to do a quick little post about the fact that my business name will stay the same! Okay, that is all. Carry on with your Thursday. ✨🌲
Best. Job. Ever. 🙌🏻 Abby & Nick, y’all can stand in front of my camera any time you want! 😍✨
Life has been so crazy lately and I have a ton of beautiful things that I can’t wait to share with you all! Including some insanely gorgeous weddings, that time my best friends threw Nick and I a surprise celebration, and all the pretty from the styled shoot I cohosted with @abbeykrysiak! Bare with me as I attempt to stay up on my social media without having any internet at my house😅. Living in the country is fun, I promise. ✨
“Marry your bestfriend. I do not say that lightly. Really, truly find the strongest, happiest friendship in the person you fall in love with. Someone who speaks highly of you. Someone you can laugh with. The kind of laughs that make your belly ache and your nose snort. The embarrassing, earnest, and healing kind of laughs. Wit is important. Life is too short not to love someone who lets you be a fool with them. Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone you want to be with you through those times. Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love, and madness combine and course through you. A love that will never dilute - even when the waters get deep and dark.” ✨ We do - We did - We always will. I’ve waited what feels like forever to marry my best friend and the fact that we did it a couple months ago, on May fourth, and kept it to ourselves for this long makes my heart pretty full. It wasn’t anything fancy but it was us and that’s all we ever wanted. Nickolas, I am so thankful, happy, and excited that I’m your wife. I can’t wait to see where we are sixty years from now. Here’s to a lifetime of adventures, loving you endlessly, and spontaneous decisions. I love you, more than anything. ❤️🌲
Feeling rather lazy on this Monday. Who else is with me? 🙋🏼♀️ Lettering done by the insanely talented: @abbeykrysiak
I’ve been the worst at posting this past week because well, life. So here’s some pretty from Kelsey & Zach’s wedding yesterday! Don’t mind me if I go MIA for another week as I spend intentional time with my better half before he heads back across the country.✨ Enjoy your day of rest, friends!
@jennakutcher said it best when she said “Stop believing you’re not worthy, stop hiding because fear tells you to, stop waiting for confidence to find you, and start doing the work every time you look in the mirror.” ✨ Here’s to continuing to work hard even when my body doesn’t want to respond to what I’m doing, and waking up everyday reminding myself that I am worthy despite what the number on the scale says. ✨ A very very big thank you to @aliciakrahe. Thank you for helping me trouble shoot this body of mine, hugging me when I cry, listening to me when I rant, kicking my ass with each workout, and for being such a light in my life. 💗 If any of you are in the Erie area and have considered wanting a personal trainer, I highly recommend Alicia. She truly helps with mind, body, and soul. & She’s pretty fuckin awesome. ✨ 📷: @alyssaannphotographyy Obsessed with this T from my girls at @driftinggypsies.
Whether I get 10 minutes or 30, I’m thankful for each second I get to photograph bride and groom portraits. ✨
While we had our session “planned” we were still a little unsure if we were going to be able to pull it together. Alyssa and I are both the last minute type, the spontaneous type, the “let’s hope this works out” type. We drove a little over an hour to one of my favorite places and as we both saw the water, it was like a calmness immediately came over the two of us. This was just what we needed. We spent the next few hours, exploring, chasing light, and letting nature fuel our creativity. And I’m so glad we did. ✨🌲
I don’t have a cute quote or long story to share with this image, I’m just missing the Montana views. That’s all. 🌲❤️
I’m just a girl who adores capturing couples while they’re living their love story. A little front porch sitting, sipping on wine, telling stories, and lots of laughter. ✨ I’ve got the best job, ever.
I’ve got a thing for golden hour light, hands being held, and couples that welcome me with open arms. ✨ Yesterday I photographed one of my favorite couples, two people who I genuinely love spending time with. Two people who always inspire me and teach me new things when I’m around them. Erika and Mike, I am very grateful for our friendship, for the time spent front porch sitting, talking personal and especially talking shop. Thank you both for believing in this little business of mine years ago and for standing beside me today. ❤️✨
Another Friday, another intro because I’ve seen some new faces around here lately. Hey ya, friends! I’m Jessica, a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Northwestern Pennsylvania, dreary Erie to be exact. Here’s some things you may or may not know about me! ✨ • I start a lot of my mornings on the back porch of the house I share with my mom, my brother, and our two crazy dogs. I normally have a cup of coffee in front of me as I aimlessly scroll through Instagram while listening to the dogs bark or play with a squeaky toy. • My better half, @nicksavoia, currently resides in Montana and while it’s pretty fucking hard living long distance I’d say we do a good job handling it. Can’t wait to see ya in a week, stud. • I really enjoy rainy days because it means I can actually sit down and focus on my tasks at hand verses worrying if I’m missing out on something when it’s nice out. • Confession: I haven’t shot my shotgun in awhile but shooting clays is one of my absolute favorite things to do! Thanks to my brother for getting me hooked. • I’m going to be traveling to some incredible places this year and I can’t wait to share them with you all when I actually arrive in said place. Somethings are just better kept a secret until it happens, ya know? 😉 ✨ I want to get to know YOU! Seriously. Drop a comment below, one random fact about you that I probably don’t know! ⬇️ I promise if ya play along it will be fun.
In case you’re ever curious to see what @hsneckersphotography is like during a session just swipe right. 😂 Thankful to always have the BEST times with this nugget. 🙌🏻
I think when you find your person, joy and happiness just radiates out of you so naturally. These two were full of energy during their session that we didn’t have a single dull moment! It was pretty dang hot & humid on this day too but you’d never know it with those big ol smiles on their faces. ✨
You know what always leaves me feeling uninspired? This app. I've been using Instagram for years and I always find myself feeling the same way about it as I scroll through comparing myself to others on the internet. Some I've met, some I haven't, but overall I normally feel uninspired while I'm on here. I know how important this can be for my business but I am going to start taking it all one day at a time. Maybe some of you have noticed that I don't post every single day like I used to, maybe some of you haven't, but either way I think this is whats best for me especially during this season of my life. I have days where I'm like what the fuck am I supposed to post next? Does anyone even pay attention to this shit? My feed is for sure not as pretty as hers. So here is to staying in my own lane, attempting to only worry about myself, and posting one day at a time, whenever I feel like it. If you've felt like this or have been feeling like this just leave your fav emoji below because you're totally not alone. & If you need some encouragement, I've got your back. ✨

Just over here counting down the minutes until @aliciakrahe kills me during my personal training session! 🏋🏼♀️🧘🏼♀️🚶🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️💪🏻 - Guys, I’m curious to hear about your favorite workouts or what you love doing to get active & moving! I’m always looking for new things to incorporate into my lifestyle so tell me what you love in the comments below. Seriously, don’t be shy! ✨ - 📷: @socialsquares
