• My morning is complete ☕️🎈
.
My husboo gave me an advent calendar this year with rare teas, which makes every morning feel like Christmas 🎄😁 And it gives me a great reason to finally break out this fancy tea set I lugged all the way back from Australia! It only took me a year to use it 😆 I love bringing home special souvenirs, but they used to just sit in a box gathering dust. Last year when we bought a house I made it my goal to actually enjoy all those keepsakes I had collected during my travels. Now they decorate every corner of my home, from the hippo statue I got in Zimbabwe that sits on my night stand, to the Italian postcards I displayed in my living room, reminding me of my favorite memories.

  • Not every Thanksgiving needs a turkey dinner 🦃🎈
.
This is a throwback to Thanksgiving 2016, which I spent in Iceland glacier hiking with my friend Hoai. While I love spending the holidays with my family, Thanksgiving is also an awesome time for a vacation if you’re trying to stretch your vacation days.
.
Say your job offers you Thursday and Friday off for the holiday, if you left the Saturday before Thanksgiving you could potentially take a 9 day trip and only need to use 3 vacations days! Plus November is the low season for many destinations so you can save a ton of money on your trip. I love me some stuffing and mac and cheese, but that’s an offer I couldn’t refuse 🙌🏽 just make sure your fam saves you a plate 😉 With those extra vacations days I’ve spent Thanksgiving in the Amazon Rainforest, in Amsterdam, and on this glacier in Iceland.
.
So would you skip turkey to go on vacation or do you prefer to be home for the holidays? Let me know what you think 🤔 #homefortheholidays #gonefortheholidays

  • Oh the places we’ll go...🎈
.
One of the hardest parts of traveling with my little dumpling was deciding what to bring and what to leave at home. Babies have gadgets and gizmos aplenty, whoseits and whatsits galore 😜🧜‍♀️ suffice it to say my baby’s got baggage! But by far the most useful thing I took was my baby carrier. This thing is clutch! From the Amalfi Coast to the Alps, Leo happily explored while snuggled up to mom’s chest.
.
With the carrier I could strap Leo on and hit the road without worrying about stairs or terrain slowing us down, which is often the downside of a stroller/buggy. He was happy to sleep in it and with some smooth maneuvering I even figured out how to breastfeed him in the carrier and that meant we were pretty much unstoppable 😏 Truth be told, it was definitely odd popping out my boob and keeping my stride, but I got used to it and baby’s gotta eat! Plus how many people can say they breastfed on top of First Mountain 🏔😂
.
We use the @babytula carrier and love it. I recommend doing a test run in your carrier before traveling with it. You want to make sure you and baby will be comfortable. And make sure it’s functional, does it have enough storage for you? Will it grow with baby?
.
What other baby items do you love? Let me know your recommendations!

  • Hi world, it’s me Natasha! It’s been an eternity since I posted...because I got busy growing this little guy 🥰
.
This is my Leo 🦁 Becoming a mom has been a life-changing experience and I wondered all year if it meant I’d have to give up the adventures that I love. Well, over the past month we’ve been on the road nearly nonstop, and I can attest that being a mom and a traveler is doable and can be fun! Now, notice I didn’t say it was easy 😆 I’m still dealing with sleep deprivation, juggling strollers and car seats, blow outs and fussiness. Can we say exhausted much??
.

This experience was challenging but rewarding, like so many things in life. So I’ll be sharing over my coming posts how we did it and lived to tell the tale!
.
If you’re a parent or planning to become one, what do you think of traveling with kids? Would you travel with your baby?

  • Norte Dame 😔 Praying that everyone fighting the fire and nearby stays safe.
•
Paris was one of my first trips outside of the US and seeing this iconic church that I had only experienced through books and movies was one of the reasons I fell in love with adventuring to new places. I hope it can survive to be seen my the next generation. #notredame

It’s my list of THE best places on the internet to book your travel. I get this question pretty often...”Where do you find the best prices for your trips??” This list is it!
•
My first couple years traveling I just stuck to the basic travel sites I saw on TV, which meant I overpaid a lot 😩 But after traveling to 90 different destinations across 30+ countries, I zeroed in on which sites consistently had better deals. Yay! 🤑 And now I can save you the trouble. So use the #linkinbio or DM me to get your FREE cheat sheet!
