Cooking experiment failure! I have been craving pancakes for the last week (maybe craving syrup, but whatever). They looked so good, but I used coconut flour mostly and the inside was mealy like ricotta 👎
Many generations of product on my test fleet (a couple of bikes not pictured). Time to hit some dirt.
Sled in nearly peak form (missing bikes) coming right from MTB to waves // Solid beach crew hang, perfect weather and quality surf...for September!
I've been trying to challenge myself to cook daily and make more scavenger meals, and shop more responsibly. Being more conscious when shopping and not dropping $50 on $10 worth of groceries at Whole Foods because I'm not paying attention or letting food go bad because of over purchasing perishables is the first step on the shopping end...but I've also found that there is usually more than enough food in the fridge/cabinets/freezer to make a meal even if it isn't EXCITING. My body feels much better as a result of preparing my own meals and I end up eating a healthier size portion and feeling like I accomplished something.
We saw some really great taxidermy today, and some...not great.
I've always loved the simplicity of a nice tabletop radio. I was going to try to get something in the Kloss lineage, but when I went by the hi-fi store in Harvard Square last fall the owner pointed me to this near-mint Proton 300, saying that it was probably the best sounding tabletop tuner that you could get (and it was about $50 cheaper than the Tivoli that I would have probably ended up with). I love old well-made stuff. PSA: So, I guess keep your eyes open, there might be a cool old store that you can support with your business and walk out of there with something really nice and unique. Stuff from Amazon usually ends up in the garbage eventually.
