Tough days (tough year, who am I kidding) call for spontaneous visits to your happy place. My happy place involves books. 💕📚
Ever feel like life gets so crazy that you're losing your mind? I've been trying to write a review for the past week and all I get is static... so I'm taking a bit of a break. Going through some pretty heavy personal stuff at the moment and I'm not feeling terribly creative lately so I decided to take a step back and regroup. I've got a few posts already planned but I figured it was best not to force it. Life. What can you do?
Reading Murder on the Orient Express while on a train. I'm not sure it's possible to be a bigger nerd right now. 📚🚂
I have my favorite genres... non-fiction was never one of them. I've recently undergone a bit of a refresh and it's suddenly the only thing I want to read. . Recent ones I've picked up: Brunelleschi's Dome by Ross King, Birth School Metallica Death by Paul Brannigan, and The Threat Matrix: The FBI at War in the Age of Global Terror by Garrett M. Graff. . My picks are admittedly extremely all over the place. I'm currently reading a book about the Plantagenets. 😂
