I just realized that I haven't shared nearly enough images from this beautiful wedding, like this one of this stunning bride.
Hello! Linda here. Social media slacker. I've been taking advantage of some downtime before wedding season starts up again to make my client experience even better for my couples. I've been working hard behind the scenes redesigning my engagement session guide and I'm putting on the finishing touches. I'm so excited to give it to my couples! It's a 26 page comprehensive guide full of styling and other tips. No fluff here! I give you all the deets. Who knew there could be so much to say about engagement sessions?😂 This is an example of the support you get when you book a wedding with me. I don't just take your money and say see you on the big day. I'm here to give you helpful advice and answer all your questions throughout the process. So you'll go into your wedding day knowing I've got your back!
Sometimes little ones have plans of their own when it comes to family photos. I let moms know that it's totally okay and to be expected. Quite often at this age, photos are done on their terms. In that case we play, take breaks if needed, use it as an opportunity to get some photos of mom and dad, and just go with the flow. Still, families sometimes go home feeling like their session was complete chaos. But when they receive their gallery (dad's especially) they are pleasantly surprised to see that there's beauty in the chaos. I love being able to show them that. Hair and Make-up: @veromua19
The last week of December was so unpredictable with the weather. So I'll call this one the session that almost didn't happen. There was an 80% chance of rain but we managed to pull it off with an early morning session (my first ever if I'm being completely honest 😂). I'm so glad we were able to make it work because otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to meet this incredibly sweet family who was vacationing from Toronto. It was really great to make some Canadian friends! One of the best parts of my job is meeting people from all over the country and even the world. So thankful for my clients who touch my life in such a positive way.💕 Hair and Make-up: @veromua19
It's unposed moments like this that often end up being my favorite.
Woo hoo! Who's excited for the weekend? I sure am. I'm not even gonna tell ya what a mess this confetti made. 😂 But it was sooo worth it for the moment! Getting ready can include some of the most emotional moments of the day. Make sure to leave plenty of room in your timeline for moments like this.
Outside of questions about wedding photography, the #1 question I hear from brides is: Should I hire a wedding coordinator, do it myself, or ask a good friend to do it? Read my thoughts on that, as well as some words of wisdom from the experts at @timetoshineevents . Click the link in my bio section to read the blog.
Reason number 1,294 why I love photographing families...because of moments like these.
More pics from the surprise proposal at the vineyard. These lovebirds 😍 were so adorable and naturals in front of the lens.
