Sometimes A PLACE can hold just as much emotion as a possession or smell to evoke a memory. 💓 . My FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD just hit my YouTube channel. Go to my bio link to see my vlog aaaall about it. (And maybe hear me speak a different language!) 🤗💕 . Comment below your favourite place on this planet!
I made a vow to myself to be in London, on this bridge, when Big Ben rings again for the first time in years. (The tower is getting a face lift, all bandaged up behind me.) What is one random thing you want to add to your bucket list?! ✨ - @kellymoorebag #sponsored
The lesson I’ve learned the most thoroughly in my 20s is to trust myself. To listen to that warm voice from somewhere in my rib cage saying, “Jump, you’ll land. Go, it will become your home. Feel, it will keep you alive.” I’ve learned to trust my intuition. There has been obstacles and hard decisions over and over again in the uncertainty of my 20s. But all of those were opportunities. Like handwriting cursive lessons, it was repetitively practicing looping turns + belly dropping swoops. To learn to trust myself. Trust that I know myself. Trust that I will heal. Trust that I know which steps are right for me, even when I’m not 100% sure and choosing to do it afraid.
🎉 Where are my Work-from-Home Boss Ladies at?! 🙋♀️💻🏡 . I’m coming at ya with 3 suggestions to make working in the same place you binge watch New Girl a little more empowering: . 1. Make sure the room you work in is “ready for business” the night before. There’s no need to start cleaning your kitchen before you work. Especially because then I’d realize the floors are dirty too. And under the fridge. And those places I never thought about cleaning before become code red urgent at 8am — what’s up with that?! The night before, make sure the space will set a productive atmosphere the minute you sit down to conquer the day! . 2. Everyone says this, but it’s true: get ready for the day! Work that contour, girl! Put on a blouse (even if you’re wearing sweat pants on the bottom)! You will FEEL night and day different — “day” being super hot, girl power boss. . 3. Have a “closing time” routine. Sometimes, I literally play “Closing Time” by Semisonic like Andy in the Office LOL. I love lighting candles, taking my dog out for a walk, or changing into comfy clothes. Just like I would if I was coming home from an office. . Do you have an tips to feel good + productive while working from home?! I’d love to hear them! Comment them below! 💻💕🏡
Be patient with yourself; nothing blooms all year long. Every season is a vital part of your story. Even when the color fades, the petals fall — they are waiting, preparing to return when the time is right. . Also: trying to make my mac + cheese lunch as decadent as this coffee shop in London. Tips on how to do so are welcomed 😂 🌸
