Lots of ins and outs lately. We're now stocking the 16 GM 1500 truck kits in both black and red (and able to sell them for a bit less than others). Thank you everyone who has invested in our parts business. Have a great weekend y'all.
Base plate of the 61-66 F100 hood hinges we've been developing coming to life at @neelyprecision No we don't have pricing yet, for those curious. Still a ways to go before these are ready for the world. Really want to get them dialed in like 👌 • @austinkempyfzr
Today's shipments: 3 of the 16 six piston GM truck setups and a couple of CK1500 drum-to-disc conversions also with WW calipers. @wilwooddiscbrakes is lovin us this year 😇
👈👉 Funky pieces that @josey_s built for @potter_imlower's Lincoln. It's a wiring channel between the engine and a bulkhead to pass thru the firewall to the main electrical under the dash. The trapezoid shape will fit a 3D printed engine cover extension so it all looks natural when finished. The nice things about the bulkhead are easy engine removal (if you ever need it) but also that it gives a good location to terminate/correct all the wire-lengths in crate harnesses instead of coiling the excess up somewhere with zipties. • @austinkempyfzr
Swipe 👈👉 Here's a new one: Tesla Model-S electronic parking brake calipers coupled with a massive 6-piston TX6 16 big brake kit we put together for @diamondwreck's '14 GMC 1500. He's an employee at Tesla which got him access to 3D models of the EPB calipers and re-flashing of the ECU to work as a simple on/off stand-alone unit that stops when it senses current overload at the limits (like window switches). We designed/built the bracketry to make it all work along with some waterjet cut caliper shims to accommodate the wider rotor. The whole thing should work like a charm and be connected to the axle by only 4 wires instead of cables and linkage. Maybe @elonmusk can appreciate it. 🤓 • @wilwooddiscbrakes @austinkempyfzr
