▪’Faith That Has A Face’ Series • “My faith makes me cautious of what I am projecting and the way I behave around my friends. I tend to speak without processing my thoughts but as I’m getting closer to God I’m working on watching the things I say as I realise that there is power in the tongue. I’m also working on being more welcoming and open as I know that I may be the only ‘Jesus’ others may see. To me, having a face to your faith is having actions that speak louder than words. So showing faith in a practical way, such as joining serving teams and having a servant’s heart. If I could summarise the impact faith has on my life in one word, it would be PEACE.” - Ekana • #FaithThatHasAFace #IgniteYouthCoventry
▪’Faith That Has A Face’ Series • “My faith has helped me in my life and has helped to make me a better person. I’ve been raised as a Christian, so my faith has sculpted me into the person that I am. Without my faith, I have no idea who I’d even be! One time, I had a friend who was hated by literally everyone at school, even I wasn’t kind to him. But eventually, I put a face to my faith by inviting him to my youth group and even today, he is a follower of Jesus-Christ. So for me, to put a face to my faith means to show God through everything I do and make a tangible impact through actions that show God to people. If I could summarise my faith in one word, it would be FREEING.” - Aaron • #FaithThatHasAFace #IgniteYouthCoventry
▪️’Faith That Has A Face’ Series • “My faith helps me get through everyday and guides me every second of my life. Without my faith, I wouldn’t have the same identity and so I would have a different attitude towards the things I do. I try to bring positivity into everyday situations because I feel like the people around me can sometimes be quite negative. Therefore, I believe it’s important for me to bring a perspective where the positive side of things are emphasised. To me, having a face to your faith means not only believing, but actively showing how your faith impacts your everyday life. The best way I can describe my faith is that I feel LOVED and BLESSED by God.” - Daniella • #FaithThatHasAFace #IgniteYouthCoventry
