‘𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝓅𝑜𝓈𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝑔𝒾𝓃𝓈 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓉𝑜 𝑔𝑒𝓉 𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝒾𝓉’ 🌿🧘🏽♀️ ‘ Been noticing this a lot during my own practice as well as when I teach. Especially whilst teaching #yinyoga ‘ I can see how some people get restless in a very simple and stable pose. Their mind is playing up and they loose their connection to the present moment, to their breath.. I always try to encourage my students to notice this, notice how uncomfortable they might feel, what emotions are coming up to the surface. And then try to surrender to it all. ‘ Same goes for myself. The moment I notice how I am avoiding a certain pose or how I quickly want to get out of one asana or the other. I push myself to stay there just a little bit more. Just to feel all that there is there for me to feel. And the flow again. ‘ Growing my inner awareness through the practice.🌿🧘🏽♀️
~ 𝐼 𝐹𝓁𝑜𝓌 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒰𝓃𝒾𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑒~ Today’s mantra which came up to me during my morning meditation. Carried this all throughout my day. Sometimes one line, one thought, one word can make such a significant difference. The instant shift. 🐚*~

Been taking so much of what I teach during my classes on the mat to my daily life off the mat. ‘ Don’t get me wrong, it not always ‘flows’ easily, but lately this new wave of profound knowing keeps creeping in. My intuition is at its peek. I feel more content. I guess it’s also because I have been meditation way more than usually.. ‘ My guides are here. Never truly alone. Connection to the light is the most important connection you will ever have. ‘ ~Embrace this by turning more inwards. By creating and engaging into daily activities & rituals which bring YOU joy. Whenever it’s cooking your favorite healthy meal, taking your puppy for a nice evening stroll, learning that new language, picking some guitar classes. Journaling. Whatever you feel drawn to. ~ ‘ Oh and I totally taking some good karma points with this gorgeous space and lovely peeps around. The yoga shala is so dreamy. Have the nicest surf spot just two minutes away. Jungles at a doorstep. 🌿
Don’t get fooled 🚫 Still a beginner, main surfing goal is still not to drown or get surf over by all the cooler dudes around. All fun here in Hiriketiya though. ‘ On a more serious note: surfing is teaching me some lessons over here. First, I’m quite impassion by nature, so waiting is not my fav. Here you have to stay & wait patently for that perfect wave / your chance. Secondly, fear of being hurt. I love deep waters, have no issue with that. I consider myself pretty good at swimming as well. But once you get hit hard under, it can get pretty scary to go back. But.. you have to keep coming back if you wish to learn. It’s leaving you with a very little room to be fearful. ‘ Lastly, you can’t catch all the waves. Take it metaphorically as you wish ha. That’s the advice I’ve been giving by one surfing teacher. ‘ So totally embracing the experience. Surf- yoga weeks in this sweet spot. ‘ Oh boy oh boy gonna be hard to leave the beach..💔
