This weeks accomplishments included drinking a whole cup of coffee before it was cold #momlife and watching the entire first two seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. (Dr.McDreamy got me like 😍 Where has the show been all my life?!) Shout out to this beautiful bride and talented photographer @bwyatt09 and her handsome other half Jared. Any accomplishments of yours we should be talking about? Gimme all the good news below!
A smile is a curve that sets everything straight☺️ Here’s to the weekend! To brunching, napping, laughing, hugging, dreaming! Tell me something good that happened this week...
Take time to fill your cup. Pour into others. Overflow with goodness. Drip kindness. Rinse + Repeat. 🙌🏽
When we’re on the brink of spring, I love to welcome the season by pretending to have a green thumb, going to the closest nursery and buying up all of the flowers to plant. Spring always feels like the perfect time for new beginnings. Shout out to my favorite florist friends! @accentsfloraldesign @opheliafloral @rosesandmint @snapdragonstudiostl 🌻🌷🌼💐🌸🥀🌺 Heres to hoping my black thumb turns green this year! What do you do to welcome the start of spring? #happyspring #stl
Happy #CamiTipTuesday! Today I want to talk about engagement photos. My tips, tricks and suggestions:) Share your tips and questions below! I would love to hear from you. TIP 1: I start out every engagement session with a pep-talk. YOUR BEAUTIFUL, YOUR IN LOVE. Don't hold any of that happiness back! Flirt, tease and have fun together. That's what it is all about. I WANT TO SEE YOU WORK IT. No shame in that, and for goodness sake, get close! Don't think of it as a photoshoot, think of it as a date. TIP 2: Treat yourself to a manicure the day before the shoot. You want that ring finger looking good for its close-up! TIP 3: Schedule your wedding hair and make-up trial for the day of your engagement session! You will feel extra beautiful for your session and you will also get to see how your hair and makeup will photograph and wear before the big day! TIP 4: LOCATION IS KEY. Do you have a favorite coffee shop? A special tree you like to sit under on your walks? Pick something that means something to you both and run with it. TIP 5: TIMING IS EVERYTHING! I like to schedule my portrait sessions about 2 hours before the sun sets for the best lighting. It is SO important to be on time for your session because I cant keep the sun from setting if you're late. If you want those dreamy buttery beautiful sunkissed images BE ON TIME. TIP 6: WHAT TO WEAR? Go shopping or rent something fab from renttherunway.com (My favorite timeless shops: Anthropologie, Free People, Altard' State), dress to impress (what you wear on your shoot shouldn't be something you would wear every day. It should be special, take some risks! I suggest one dressy outfit and one casual outfit) and coordinate. (Try to dress in the same color family. Light colors and neutrals compliment one another well.) TIP 7: Keep moving! Your hand, your gaze, your hair, your smile, your dress... small things like this add variety and keep the session flowing. Soft kisses on the forehead, laughing, dancing, holding hands, whispers, etc... all breathe life into your photos. Go for it! Talk sweetly and make corny jokes. These moments are helpful and are exactly what you should be doing. #HappyWeddingPlanning
Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat. 🌻 #spring #stl #jw
Getting ready the day of your wedding is one of my favorite things to photograph! Nothing beats a morning laughing and getting beautiful with the most important women in your life. One of my favorite getting ready rooms is at @sh_of_sc With that said, here are a few tips to make the morning of your wedding day flawless! TIP 1. Breath, relax and most importantly have fun, play some of your favorite music to get the party started🎧🎼 TIP 2. Eat something, anything and have a mimosa (or three, it’s all about having fun right?)🍹🍾😝 TIP 3. Find a getting ready location with LOADS of natural light, that means LOTS of windows. If you are getting ready in a hotel request a corner suite (they tend to have more windows, thus more beautifully lit photos!)☀️ TIP 4. Choose a room with neutral wall colors. (White, tan, powder blue all photograph beautifully.) Stay away from bold colored walls. Nobody wants a green cast on their beautiful white wedding gown from the wall next to them.💚 TIP 5. Have your details ready. Hang your dress on a pretty door or window and be sure to have your shoes, bouquet, rings, invitation suite and an other heirlooms and details all together near the dress. 👠💍💐 TIP 6. Matching robes for your bridesmaids are a great touch for keeping your getting ready photos to look consistent. I also suggest that your bridesmaids and moms get into their pretty dresses before you step into yours, that way they all look great while helping you into your dress. 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 TIP 7. Always schedule more time than you think is necessary while getting ready! ⏰⌛️Thinking you need to start hair and makeup at 9am? Think again, make it 8am😂 You can never be too safe with your wedding day schedule❤️ #HappyWeddingPlanning #CamiTipTuesday
Something blue. Love that pop of color in a sea of white 🙌🏽
You guys, flash back to when I was 8 weeks pregnant with Noli! Just a little peanut at the time. Now she’s 10 months old😭 How the time flys. Every now and again it hits me how unbelievably grateful I am to be a mom while still gaining exposure to new clients who often turn into great friends. So I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for being you and thank you for being HERE.

Here are some of my favorite tools for productivity. Just add some embarrassing 80s music, my favorite fuzzy slippers and some Earl Gray tea with french vanilla creamer and I’m unstoppable! Is it surprising that I run this whole business on practically those things alone? 😂 Happy Tuesday💃🏽 #cerealislife
The things I find most beautiful about a person are almost never physical. I tend to cringe at small talk. I want to hear about your childhood and the favorite meal your mom used to make you when you lived at home. What memories arise when you smell your favorite scent? What are 5 passions you have that make you feel alive? We are so much deeper than our exterior. That’s why I am drawn to photography. No one ever takes a photograph of something they want to forget. It’s not about the visible beauty on the outside, it captures the memory of the feelings, mindset and joy you felt leading up to that moment in time. It tells a story within itself that only the subjects fully understand. Some say “A photograph is the pause button of life.” Don’t be shy, comment your non-small talk below👇🏽 I wana hear about what makes you, YOU! #presspause #rememberwhen
