Who saw the wolf moon last night?! I did not, but couldn’t stop staring at this gorgeous view this morning!!
It’s hard to go to @vickeryvillageshops without stopping in @parentthephase because they have the cutest selection of high-quality kids clothes - especially for babies! I grabbed these adorable baby items (@milkbarnkids bath cloths, kerchief bib and floral dress with leggings plus a bib by Cream of my Coffee. Also got this @ryleeandcru lion dress for Teagan to wear at @disneysanimalkingdom! Where are your favorite local spots for baby shower gifts and baby clothes?!
Teagan is obsessed with arts and crafts so when @pinspirationga asked if she wanted to be a guest crafter with owner Brooke Roe for a Craft Your Imagination Kids Series on TV, she was so excited!!! She made the cutest winter fairy house and for $29 your kids can head to Pinspiration to make their own! So many other cute projects to choose from as well at this DIY craft studio!
Spent the weekend with our Forsyth friends who moved to Kansas City so we had to bring them a bit of home! Grabbed these adorable items from @thegibsonco which is next to @chickensaladchick at the @collectionforsyth. The cutest local finds and one of my favorite spots for gifts! And if you’re looking for a weekend getaway, @visitkc is less than a 2 hour flight from Atlanta and has so many fun areas to explore!
Through Dec. 30, head to @warbington_farms for Christmas on the Farm Light Show Extravaganza! The Fun Park is open and all lit up making it extra fun for the kids! You will definitely want to do the festive tractor ride which takes you the Field of Lights. Enjoy the synchronized light show complete with tunnels, tons of cute light displays and a giant tree surrounded by snowflakes! Tip: Have someone in your party wait in line while the others hit the Fun Park for the bouncy pillow, slides, walk-thru light displays and to pet the goats! Also, dress warm and bring a blanket for the tractor ride! When you arrive, there is a heated room where Santa will be and you can get a professional photo for $15 or take your own pic for $5! There are lots of characters around the farm including the crew from PJ Mask and The Grinch! Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children. Kids under 3 are free! Concessions and s’mores kits are available for purchase. Www.warbingtonfarms.com for additional details.
Farmhouse in the City is an art and play studio situated in downtown Roswell just off Green Street. Yesterday Teagan and I went to their Paint and Play session which was filled with 2 hours of pottery painting, feeding the chickens, feeding and holding the bunnies, coloring, making beaded bracelets, dress up and face painting. She had the best time!! Check the website for the schedule and to reserve a spot. This is the perfect activity for artsy little ones like mine who could color and craft all day long! We love this place for open play, birthday parties and all the indoor artsy fun!
Christmas in New York City. There’s nothing quite like it! During our 48 hour kid-free trip we packed it all in. We stayed at Soho Grande Hotel which was gorgeous, festive and has the best french toast ever. We started our first full day spending hours at the 9/11 Memorial which was beautiful, incredibly moving and a must when visiting New York. We saw the Statue of Liberty, shopped at the Christmas market in Bryant Park, got in the full Christmas spirit seeing the Rockettes (amazing!!!), shopped the 10.5 level Macy’s on 34th, soaked in the holiday window displays and live street entertainment, visited Rockefeller to see the huge beautifully lit tree and hit some favorite eateries like Morandi for authentic Italian cuisine, NY Pizza Suprema for the tastiest thin crust pizza by the slice and Big Gay Ice Cream for the best soft serve. The most magical time to visit NYC!
