Nothing as soothing as the sound of rain, am I right or am I right? :P
Have we met? If not, I hope we do sometime because I much prefer hanging out face to face laughing over a cup of French press or a coffee stout than I do on social media. I'm Beck, my full name is Rebecca but there's not a soul on earth who actually calls me by my full name. I'm 26 yrs old, married to my best friend, Tyler. He took this picture ;) We just celebrated our 3 yr wedding anniversary this past December 31st. Yup- we got married on NYE and it was freakin awesome. Together we live with our 9 month old yellow lab Maggie Rae in a quaint town on the Connecticut shore. Despite being in a dress in this photograph I really don't wear dresses often at all. Most days you can find me in an oversized button up, skinny jeans and my favorite leather boots I got from a thrift store. I enjoy hiking with my doggo, laughing at ridiculous memes my husband finds on the internet, camping, slow dancing with Tyler in the kitchen, building or creating things, swimming in ice cold mountain rivers & drinking fresh French press coffee. Recently I've gotten more and more into loose leaf tea so that's been in the daily drink rotation too. Oh and my hair is currently shaved... it seems as though this photo is just full of lies LOL. I'm so sorry. If you live close I'd love to meet up sometime, especially if you're a fellow creative:) -Beck
Atalaya's summer home was a mix of wide open spaces filled with light and then creepy, dark narrow wet tunnels.
We have some pretty breathtaking spaces in my neck of the woods.
Remaining evidence of the 2012 forest fire at Devils Hopyard. So strange to see so many burnt trees in the middle of the forest.
I love finding things in nature that look like black and white photographs.
I love how I don't know what the writer meant and how I can interpret this as I please. To me this is a quote of hope and optimism, but to someone else it could be interpreted as impending doom (and I'm not talking about the band.)
A happy accident.
Sometimes I wish smart phones were non existent so people were forced to see images blown up to their proper size. This image made me all giddy when I saw it for the first time on my iMac. May have to get this one printed.
Fav activity? Hiking with the doggo is on top of my list. What bout you?
