When it comes to store decor, designer @dpackman doesn't hold back. Each of our stores tells a story about the town and neighborhood it inhabits. Our team visits the local archives, talks to neighbors and artists and digs out the most incredible history. Our Sugarhouse Location in SLC is one of our most exciting stories told. This garage style shop was once part of the bustling Petty Ford Motor Company, circa the 1930s, 40s & 50s. Here, fine Ford automobiles were serviced, sold and marketed to commuters entering the valley. The property is still owned by the Petty family, who have stashed away a handful of iconic vehicles in a secret underground garage. While we’ve done good to honor the history in our design, guests still have no idea that their 3 o’clock sandwich snarf is taking place over an original, intact Model T Ford. (OK, a new steering wheel was added 40 years ago.) That said, a glass floor would be pretty neat.
We are at 1,376,771 sandwiches donated and counting thanks to all of you! It is sometimes hard to grasp the impact you have just by buying a sandwich, but your impact is real. Your simple purchase is causing ripples of generosity and change in your community that is felt by many of your underserved neighbors. Without all of YOU, none of this would be possible. . Our partnership with Even Stevens is a wonderful example of how a for-profit corporation can support a community non-profit organization. Even Stevens brings great resources, including the support of its customer base, to assist. @anewleafaz in our mission of Helping Families…Changing Lives. The food donated by the Scottsdale restaurant will feed homeless men sheltered at our East Valley Men’s Center. Through this valuable program, Even Stevens energizes a community to make a difference in the lives of people challenged by poverty. We are truly grateful to be selected as a charity of choice.” -Joe Dulin, Chief Philanthropy Officer

1,351,510 sandwiches donated and no sign of slowing down. We Eat to Give because we believe that our communities deserve better- better food, better resources, and better community involvement. Our giveback program doesn't just give a sandwich and walk away, we are committed to our nonprofits through an extensive program that provides them access to food on their terms and in turn allows them to expand and grow their programs with the money they save. This is no gimmick, this is a game changer. #eattogive 📷 @omarprestwich

Kids are adventurous, spunky and smart little humans and they deserve to have awesome eats. Our kids meals come with a choice of turkey and cheese, ham and cheese, grilled cheese or mac n cheese, chips or veggie sticks, and a drink of their choice. Kids sandwiches also count towards our give back program because little ones want to giveback too. 📷 @teilyrmcclure

What makes Even Stevens sandwiches so good? It's all about that local love. We use craft local ingredients in our food, creating flavors that can only be made by people who truly love what they do. This Do Gouda features onion marmalade from Pepperland Products in Utah and Cotton Country Jellies in Arizona. The meat is NY strip by local farm @doublelranchmeats, family owned since 1920. The bread is from a local bakeries. The best part? Knowing that just by eating this fabulous sandwich, you're feeding someone in need in your community. Now that's local love! ✌ Fabulous 📷@lenaskitchenblog
