Aroids used to be so affordable 2 years ago but now it is costing a bomb! Last year was still ok but this year is another whole new world. Appreciate and hug your plants whenever you can 😂#happymonsteramonday #thamsupgarden
I have a thing for velvety leaves! Major 💚 for #philodendrongigas & #philodendronmelanochrysum. These 2 are often mistaken at juvenile stage. Can you spot the differences? #philodendronfriday #thamsupgarden #nofilter
I absolutely love this layout. Simple, fast, clean, classy are what I always look for when I create. And floral designs are always my go to element for my scrapbook layouts! Always a joy creating with @maggiehdesign collection 🌸 #mhdesignteam
HAPPINESS is enjoying the little things in life! Having plants all around the #thamsuphome instantly lit up my mood. 🌱 That #philodendronbrasil is a perfect addition on this table. Thanks @jiedandhisplants for the beautiful painting 💚
Hurmmm... this #philodendrongoldendragon (leaves of the same plant) literally described how I look this season in life. Right leaf - before MCO. Left leaf - during MCO 🥺🙈😂
I’m so grateful to be sharing life, love and parenthood with a wonderful man like you. Our girls are feeling blessed, feeling cared for, feeling loved, thanks to you. Happy Father’s Day @erictham! We love you! ❤️ #thamsuphome #coffeeaddict #hariov60 #hario
Never have I imagined that someone will interview me regarding my plant love! 💚Definitely once in a lifetime opportunity to have @astromalaysia Prima to visit #thamsuphome #thamsupgarden and have a chat about plants.
This #syngoniumpinkspot of mine thrives the best in slightly shaded area but still receives good amount of natural lighting throughout the day. Generally, most #syngonium plants are quite easy to care. They love to stay moist but not soggy. #onwednesdaysweplantpink #thamsupgarden
Monstera Thai Constellation & Monstera Dubia just chilling out in #thamsupgarden. Have a #happymonsteramonday! 🙌🏼 #kitatanamcinta
The essence of the BEAUTIFUL is UNITY in variety! Have a sublime Saturday, plant peeps! 💚 #thamsupgarden
Besides being a #crazyplantlady, I’m a freelance scrapbooker to @maggiehdesign Design Team for @cratepaper, a part of the amazing manufacturer, @americancrafts. Just sharing this simple and easy to create layout with #maggieholmesheritage collection. I always enjoy using floral designs. What about you? What do you do?
Good morning from not a very sunny balcony! 😂 For the next 3 months I won’t be receiving any direct morning sunlight since the sun shifted to the back of my block. So my succulents now are not at the prettiest stage. Just bright natural lighting throughout the day. That’s the saving grace. That’s the reality I have to accept. - - I do get questions or remarks on how my succulents are colorful and theirs are green? The secret of colorful succulents is STRESS. Like humans, succulents can get stressed, too. - - The leaves can get stressed when they are exposed to direct morning sunlight (at least 4-5 hours) and with minimal watering. Hence, I have been watering my succulents once a week or close to two weeks once depending on the weather. When put in the shade or indoor, most succulents turn green (just like most of my succulents in the photo now - lack of direct sunlight) because the lack of chlorophyll for capturing sun light to keep the photosynthesis process going. Your succulents will look etiolated & leggy too, if you continue to keep them indoor or without enough sunlight. They just won’t look compact as before. Just look at my sedum burro’s tail, I purchased that one through an online nursery during MCO. I couldn’t see much details on the photo. Upon receiving, it looks etiolated because of the gaps in between the leaves. The older one that I have which is at the top of the lot is more compact. You cannot reverse the process but hoping the new growth will be better. I decided to still include that into my pallet. So yeah, let your succulents enjoy some good amount of direct morning sunlight today! 🙌🏼 #thamsupgarden
I I really like this hashtag that was created during MCO #kitajagakita. It was a hashtag filled with love, compassion, empathy, honor, etc. Malaysians really stood out in fighting this covid-19 situation so well that we got recognized by the whole world. It’s seriously very heart-warming to listen to all the stories on socmed. It was uplifting and encouraging knowing we are all in this together. . . I would love to see more #plantpeople do the same thing too. Encourage each other, be happy for that plant being adopted. Show plant love to people you follow. Don’t bring anyone down. NEVER. Don’t comment if you don’t know the person well enough. Don’t make assumption. Don’t impose your ways on others. . . Every garden has different condition. Every garden has different soil mix. Every garden has different story to tell. Plants are arranged in the garden to shield each other. Be that plant. Be humble. Be kind. #rememeberyourroots #akutanamkoyangpanas #akubelikojugakpanas . . If you have any story to share or express or just wanna share your plant photos, let’s encourage each other with this #kitatanamcinta #kitajagapokokkita
Some call it a mess, I call it a BEAUTIFUL mess. #thamsupgarden . . This DIY cinder block rack receives direct morning sunlight for about 4-5 hours daily. Most of the plants here are deep watered on weekly basis except for the string of hearts & air plants where I mist them almost daily. Deep watering about 1-2 times a week depending on the weather. And it receives good aeration too.
Sansevieria species are one of the easiest to care regardless it is indoor or outdoor. They are survival, they love to be neglected and they are drought tolerant. Sharing some that I have hanging around in the #thamsuphome. Swipe left to see a 13yo pot of whale fin. Any sans fan? 🙋🏻♀️ #sansevieriasunday #akuyangtanamkoyangpanas
What SAY you?! 🤩 What an honor! Thanks @saysdotcom for featuring #thamsupgarden & #thamsuphome. Wish my late mum and dad (they were pretty hardcore plant lovers too) could see this! ☺️ Hello to all new insta-friends too! Thank you for joining me here 💚🙏🏼🌱 Article link in profile
