This program is designed to inspire children to make healthier choices. Each recipe focuses on a hero vegetable or fruit. We teach the kids fun facts and together we cook a @jamieoliver approved recipe, full of fun & we cook just like Jamie! After an inspiring day of health, change & being part of a movement at @festival21_ yesterday, it’s business as usual in my kitchen for a batch cooking Sunday. This is a beautiful medley of tomatoes with kale, garlic and basil - seasoned with salt & pepper, add a splash of balsamic & a light drizzle of olive oil - then into the oven 200 degrees for at least 40 minutes until those tomatoes are beautifully caramelised. I’m turning my mix into a tart, but this would be great on pasta or served with chicken or fish. Cooking is all about being confident & kind to your ingredients - remember less is more. Very happy with my tomato harvest so far..... I only have a small veggie patch but I can certainly grow plenty out of it!
