I did a little Shelfie decorating this afternoon! I also ordered ONE new accessory which will likely cause these shelves to be cleared and restyled again 😂.
I’ve always had a grocery store flower addiction but now that @traderjoes has came to town it’s a whole new level. BUT! We picked wild flower daisies about a month ago and I dried them in that little frame. Weekend goals: find a permanent home for it!
We are finally finishing up our master! After nine months! We’ve been living out of our bedroom for awhile but the bathroom was still unfinished but now it’s allll done and I’m so excited!!!! What’s the longest renovation you’ve ever done?
Happy Father’s Day to my baby daddy. You are the fun parent that’s always willing to give piggy back rides, have a water fights and kitchen dance parties even after a long day of work. You’re the only one that aspen will let dry her tears. Fatherhood looks good on you and I can’t imagine parenting with anyone else.
I can’t seem to finish Aspen room. I guess that’s a common theme around my house, but finishing things and all 🤪. Some of the pieces I got just aren’t working together and I can’t decide if I need wallpaper or just want to keep it simple. Oh well, none of that keeps us from having pillow fights, jumping in the bed and cozying up to read books nightly. And that’s all that really matters.
There’s three main things that bother my in my current kitchen, one being this hunk of a fridge. And not in the good kind of hunk way. I’ve brainstormed ways to hide the side of the fridge without doing a total kitchen remodel and I think I’ve came up with something, I just need somebody handy to make it happen cough @keystoneconstructionict cough.
I got some new @mcgeeandco pieces in the mail this week so I think the coffee bar is getting a decor switch a roo this weekend. I really should put that energy towards finishing the coffee bar but what fun is that. We have a few unfinished projects but that doesn’t keep me from dreaming up the next ones 🤷♀️
I’ve been quiet lately. Initially i was just focused on living and enjoying my kids and family and not spending so much time on my phone. And then after George Floyd died I’ve spent most of the time listening and learning about racism. I still don’t have all my thoughts organized or feel like I have the right thing to say but I’ll say this: I know I will never understand what it’s like to be judged for my skin color, and I’ve found lots of areas in myself I need to work on and I’m committed to working on them, celebrating differences (skin tone, heritage, political beliefs, etc) and raising my kids to be good human beings that will be allies to people that need them. In other news a little lady turned THREE this week.
