My first family session in Spokane was absolutely amazing!! I looked on my website and like 95% of the photos, everyone is looking at each other because I LOVE capturing connections! But I’m also passionate about having beautiful portraits. Do you prefer casual interaction photos? Or posed and looking at the camera? Maybe a bit of both?
Alright guys, I’m about to get REAL real. Since we moved across the country, my husband hasn’t been paid. YUP. He’s our main source of income (I provide the majority of the childcare for our 3 babies), and has been working full time and hasn’t been paid since August! That’s 4 paychecks and reimbursement for moving. We are still waiting on the military to get its act together, but IN THE MEAN TIME, you guys have SINGLE HANDEDLY kept my family afloat. I am so so grateful for you all! So to all my clients this year: THANK YOU. Thank you for having faith in me to capture beautiful photos for your family. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family story. Thank you for paying me and keeping my family fed while we make this huge transition. You guys are the best, and I’m super SUPER grateful. For those of you cheering me on or sending me referrals, THANK YOU. So, send some good vibes to the Air Force finance offices because they could obviously use some help 🤣 And share some good news with me while we wait to get paid!! What are you thankful for this season? P.S. I’m so nervous posting this, because people hate to talk about money! But money is real and important so I want to be cool with talking about it!
Two years later and they’re more in love than ever 💗 I love photographing Kandace and Joel, they have so much fun and are so sweet! Anniversary sessions are a great way to celebrate all the awesome life and memories you have made since you said “I do”!
My favorite ways to get to know people are: playing board games, talking late into the night around a campfire, and doing some crazy fun activity like paddle boarding or hiking. (Enneagram 7 over here 🤣) What is your favorite way to get to know someone? Side note: I love this location I found! Let’s get some fall photos done before it snows again!!
The kids and I did some location scouting and it SNOWED. In September! We skipped straight from summer to winter! What a wild week! How is your fall going so far?
This summer was an absolute blur. I thought I was busy when I took this beautiful photo, but the craziness was just beginning! I had one of the busiest summers for my business to date, then in August, with two weeks notice (thanks Air Force), we moved literally from one corner of the country to the other. We lived with family for a month and a half (no small feat for a family with three busy babies!) bought a house, did some hasty projects to make it livable, AND my oldest started Kindergarten!! 😳😅 I feel like I’ve been sprinting for two months, and the to-do list is still miles long! So for now, I’m going to unpack one box at a time, and give grace for all of the things that are just going to take TIME. Is anyone else in an insanely busy season??
Hey friends! Samantha here. My family is in the middle of our big crazy move, staying with family and doing some serious house hunting (which is exactly as absolutely insane as it sounds). I’m excited to get back to some semblance of normal! Things should start settling down toward the end of the month. I’m seriously contemplating doing some fall mini sessions this year so I can get to know the local community! Do you like doing fall mini sessions with your family?
•BIG NEWS• We’re moving back to Spokane, WA! After five beautiful years on the Emerald Coast, we are moving home to Washington State at the end of July! I am so excited for this new adventure, and can’t wait to sink some roots into the Inland Northwest. What fun new things have popped up in Spokane in the last five years?? Can’t wait!
When someone perfectly executes a dip 🤩🥰 Swipe to see their sweet baby girl! Cutest family 💗
