Kansas is so finicky! Yesterday, it was brutally cold and gray and today, the sun is out, birds are chirping and I'm dreaming of wedding season. . . 3 more days until my first 2018 wedding so here's a daily dose of black and white goodness!
Hey Gorgeous! This magazine is the best way to start my 2018 wedding adventures. In December, 2016, I had a vision. A vision to help inspire #thekansasbride to create a wedding day that celebrated their love of our state without doing the overdone shabby chic look that overflows Pinterest when you type in Kansas wedding ideas . The vendors and magazine editor all loved the idea I had and helped make my vision come to life. Check it out in a store near you very soon. But for now, here’s a sneak peek . :) #sarariethbridetribe #kansaswedding #kcbride #classicbride #wichitaweddingphotographer #kcweddingphotographer #kansascityweddingphotographer
I truly love staring out my window to watch the snow fall but I can’t help but to keep dreaming of warmer days. Like this elopement in Arizona that’s featured in my journal today. Perfection. Link in bio 😘
I'm counting down the days until my first 2018 wedding with a daily black & white image because those always hold a special place in my heart. 5 days left....

This week's before/after: *swipe to see the before* Since this week's tip blog was on prep rooms, what better image to show for a before and after than the groom tying his shoes. This wedding took place at a church and the groom's prep room was in a dark basement room that was cluttered. Although we took a few action shots in there, I wanted to get a couple classic shots of him getting ready with that natural lighting. These stairs were the perfect way to do so but they needed a lot of work. I wanted a neutral backdrop so that his shoes and socks would really pop. The yellowish paint was chipping and I didn't want the chips to distract from the image. 4 brushes and 7 cloning tools later, it became one of my favorite groom prep images. It became that classic photo that I always stive for. :) Happy Saturday! Yours Truly, Sara
One thing a lot of brides don’t tend to think about until the wedding day is where they’re getting ready at. I’ve created 5 tips to help you create the Picture Perfect prep room even if your venue doesn’t have a bridal suite. Blog link in bio 😘
