George Salter Academy continues to achieve excellent results. Once again we are absolutely delighted with our A Level results. Students achieved a 98% pass rate with 77% of all entries at A*, A, B or C grades. These are excellent results and we are proud of each & every student!!

As part of International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Year 12 and 13 students have been discussing this important topic as part of their PSHE programme. Over the last two weeks students have been exploring myths and health issues of FGM and also where to go for support if it affects them or someone they know. Well done to all students involved for addressing such an important but difficult topic. Tutors were very proud of the contributions students made! #fgmletstalk

16 Salter Sixth students got involved in local democracy last week with Mr Singh from Sandwell Council. They discussed a number of issues including Brexit, age to vote and local issues. Well done to all those involved!
