Dreaming of brighter, sunnier, WARMER days right now. And, of course, more floral designs by @wildblossomhollow.⠀ ⠀ Counting down the days til I get to work with this hilarious + talented flower farmer again!!! If you aren't doing so already, go give Christy a follow! She is downright amazing at what she does. (And her everyday life is the highlight of my Instagram stories every week!)⠀ ⠀ Whenever I'm done being a photographer, I think I want to be Christy Muck.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #WNYphotographer #NYphotographer #PAphotographer #WNYWeddingPhotographer #NYWeddingPhotographer #PAWeddingPhotographer #NewYorkPhotographer #PennsylvaniaPhotographer #EriePhotographer #BuffaloPhotographer #travelingphotographer #NYFlorist #FlowerFarmer #supportlocal #localbusiness #localfarmers #thosefloralsthough #flowergoals
Another edition of Instagram vs. Reality, people. Typically my husband doesn't assist at weddings anymore. He prefers to stay home and enjoy his Saturdays off, rather than tagging along and helping me. (I have no idea why? Men always LOVE weddings...) I've been lucky enough to have my best friend alongside for the majority of this past season. And when she couldn't be there, I had amazing assistants who stepped up and filled her shoes! As you can see, though, Jesse rocks at holding the veil and the results when he does are phenomenal. The second picture is the purest form of proof that it doesn't come without sacrifice and obstinance from all men involved. 😂 #WNYphotographer #NYphotographer #PAphotographer #WNYWeddingPhotographer #NYWeddingPhotographer #PAWeddingPhotographer #NewYorkPhotographer #PennsylvaniaPhotographer #EriePhotographer #BuffaloPhotographer #travelingphotographer #NewYorkPhotographer #NewYorkWeddingPhotographer #WillTravelForLove #simplylovely #BTS #BehindTheScenes #MyLifeYourEntertainment #TrueLife

Missed our six month anniversary yesterday because we were both wayyyy too busy...⠀ ⠀ (Actually, we were binge watching Grey's for the second time and eating cookies, followed by going to bed at 9:45 pm. Neither of us knew what date it was because, well, offseason problems...) ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ After spending 2018 running like a chicken with my head cut off, I'm taking time to really think about my goals and what I want to accomplish in the next 12 months. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ I started selecting a word of the year a few Januarys ago after seeing another photographer who did this rather than making resolutions. I fell in love with the idea and have tried to stick with it ever since.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ In 2017, my word was hustle.⠀ And certainly was a year of exactly that. My wedding season ran from February to November, with three destination weddings and over 21,000 miles driven in my car, all for the sake of capturing sweet memories.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 2018's word was present.⠀ I wanted to spend less time behind my computer and more time participating in life. (Not sure how well I did there, but I realllllly tried.) We bought a home, fixed it up, planned our wedding, got married, and traveled to Jamaica... all of which FORCED me to spend time away from work. No matter how chaotic, it was really, really good for my soul.⠀ ⠀ So for 2019... I'm still deciding, I guess. I've given myself til January 31st to make an official decision.⠀ ⠀ If you were to choose a word for the year ahead, what would yours be?!
