The DSU stood in solidarity with students and survivors at King’s College yesterday at the KSU organized “Rally for Survivors at King’s”. The rally marks student frustration with how the King’s Board of Governor’s hasn’t adequately incorporated student voices and appropriate funding to support survivors. To learn more, visit the KSU’s event page (link in comments). We recognize that these conversations are challenging and can provoke a lot of thoughts and feelings about sexualized violence – the DSU provides the provinces only Sexual Assault and Harassment Phone Line that offers confidential and anonymous, non-judgemental, active listening and support to anyone who has experienced or has been affected by sexualized violence. The Phone Line can be reached at 902-425-1066 between 12:00pm and 12:00am daily, 7 days a week.
