Hellooo weekend! 🖤 I’m heading out to a shoot this morning & then an engagement session this afternoon. It’s going to be a good day!
To be honest, last year I didn’t have too much of a work/life balance. I think what makes it hard is I truly love photography and my job. This year, I’m on the pursuit to say YES to more things I love to do. For example: driving up to the mountains on a Monday with my hubby & pup.🖤
Sunday’s are easily my favorite day of the week. It’s so nice to refresh & spend time with family. Buttt I must say, it’s a close race with Bachelor Monday’s.😜
The @downtownsummerlin #DogsofDTS Calendar came out today! I got to meet some prettyyy cute pups while shooting for the calendar- including these little local celebrities.😉 #goknightsgo
Slow mornings with your favorite person...🖤
I love a pretty portrait just as much as the rest, but I have to say, after almost 10 years of shooting weddings (how has it been that long?!?!), my favorite photos from a wedding day are the moments. The moments that if you had looked the other way, for even just a couple seconds you would have missed it. Here’s Brent, stealing a kiss from his beautiful bride, on the dance floor with a new accessory on his left hand. ❤️ #bethanypaigeweddings
I’ve been having a hard time finding the words to sum up this year, but I’m going to try! One thing I know for sure is that God has been so faithful. It has been a year of growth and learning. I reached goals in my business that I never thought would have been possible at the beginning of the year. I learned what it meant to work hard and be all in. I experienced success and made mistakes. I learned what an amazing person I married. My husband, Cody, was my biggest cheerleader and my voice of reason more times than I can count. I couldn’t have done it without him. God opened doors that I know only He could open and I am so thankful for all the amazing opportunities I was given this year. 2018 was a year I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone that made this year one I will forever look back on! ✨
Story time: I had just finished taking Al and Chelsea’s Christmas photos up at Mount Charleston. I called my husband and told him how I met “the cutest couple, they were so in love and so sweet.” Less than 5 minutes later, I got a text from Al saying, “Hey it’s Al. Chelsea doesn’t know I’m texting you, but I’m planning on proposing Saturday, December 15th. Would you be able to shoot it!? 💍”. Anddd the rest is history.❤️ I couldn’t be happier for this sweet couple!
I can’t believe we’re only 2 weeks out until Christmas! So much to do, so little time... Who else needs to still finish their Christmas shopping?! (Still obsessed with this session from last year.❤️ It’s always my favorite seeing how much the kids have grown each year!)
