👆❤️ @yrfatfriend always takes the things I'm thinking and waves a magical wand (it's actually just pure talent... no magic needed) that organizes them into the most eloquent words... And I'm forever grateful for this message and for her. - Fat people, ❤️ you are deeply, DEEPLY loved in all of the ways ❤️.

A message from (me and) @mexakitsch: I really appreciated seeing this today and I thought it was a good message to pass along to my fellow creatives. I’ve been guilting myself a lot lately for falling behind on art projects and so I’m trying to be mindful of the fact that I’m focusing on myself and my family during a really difficult time and it’s important for me to do so. I’ll be back on track and pumping out work like my usual self but right now my energy is needed elsewhere. Don’t feel bad for doing this, you guys. Even if it’s not a serious situation like mine.... you’re a human being, not an art factory. Take a moment to breath.....unclench your jaw.......release your shoulders from your ears...... remove your tongue from the roof of your mouth......and relax. Love you guys, Elrod ❤️
🍯👌 This summer, I've been channeling my chosen patronus: #WinnieThePooh while rocking my bathing suits and crop tops 🐝. - And now I need to know👉: ✨What character/animal is your patronus?!?✨ (You 1000% get to choose!) - PS: Totally looking for a plus size red bikini top and yellow bottoms so if you know where to get these... I'm all ears!
🍯🐝 I am short, fat, and proud of that And so with all my might I up, down, up-down To my appetite's delight While I up, down, touch the ground I think of things to chew (Mmm, like honey, milk, and chocolate) With a hefty-happy appetite I'm a hefty-happy Pooh 🐝🍯
Y'know how we sometimes make analogous physical connections where we're like: 🍐My body is pear shaped or 🍎My body is apple shaped or (if we get creative maybe it might be) 👑My body Lumpy Space Princess shaped?!?... - .✨🐝✨I was so thrilled when a friend hit the nail on the head a few days ago by pointing out that I am 🍯 1000% WINNIE THE POOH SHAPED🍯. - I've never felt so seen. - #IAmShortFatAndProudOfThat #WinnieThePooh #FatIcon
Justice is what love looks like in public. Dr Cornel West (@brothercornelwest) - This quote is another truth that @sonyareneetaylor dropped in my comment section under an image of a quote she wrote about how love is the answer. Someone commented in agreement and said Also love needs a little justice too to which Sonya quoted Dr West and then said: I view them as inseparable. - Sonya has changed my life trajectory through her online comments (✨ I actually quote something she left in the comment section on @bitchmedia's website in EVERY SINGLE presentation I give because it's THAT GOOD✨) so I offer these two suggestions: 1.) Don't sleep on Sonya words or comments, ever ❤️ and 2.) Keep this quote and it's meaning closer to your heart at all times.

👆💯@chairbreaker: despite that fat & disabled activists have convincingly made clear that health is neither a moral obligation to anyone nor an indicator of humanity, fear of negative health outcomes are frequently invoked whenever fat people attempt to merely live our lives. many people structure their lives around achieving or maintaining thinness because they believe it to be synonymous with health. even more perform unhealthy behaviors in order to do so. . but if we lived in a culture that ACTUALLY valued health, we would live in one with universal healthcare; one that has attended to anti-Blackness & settler colonialism & the negative health outcomes those experiences produce in Black & Indigenous bodies. we would live in a culture that was not socially stratified by race, class & gender. . social & cultural discrimination (be it anti-Blackness, enduring racialized poverty, experiencing fatphobia, or witnessing your land, culture & people be colonized, displaced, r*ped & murdered) is bad for our health, & can show up in our bodies as: hypertension, high blood pressure, diabetes, & more. . if we lived in a culture that valued health, we would live in one where everyone had access not just to housing, but to healthy foods, ways to move their bodies in ways that feel good for them, the time off from work, childcare & transportation to do so. . instead, we live in one that has commodified these resources, producing thinness not as a metric of health but as a sign of class & western morals & values. . next time you want to utilize fearmongering anxieties about health in order to mask your fatphobia in response to fat people merely existing, please turn your attention instead to: ensuring that no more fat or disabled people die from their necessary medical care being placed behind fabricated financial barriers; that we all have access to healthy ways of living, including access to health care but also lives free from racism, sexism, ableism, fatphobia, transmisogyny, policing, prisons & state violence. . if this isn’t part of your definition of health, then it is just fatphobia. .
