Kihnu island's culture is listed by @unescoworldheritage but there are only around 500 people living in this tiny island. Many are getting old, some leave and few arrive. Only couple of them get married. But when they do, they do it like their ancestors 100+ years before.
Ordinary locations become extraordinary with nice people in it. David.
Bride with an ax, what's going on? In Estonian wedding there is a tradition bride and groom have to prove that they are able to get through life and bring the food to the table without being afraid of hard work. It's a historical thing as Estonians have never had easy life, thousand years there have been foreigns conquered the land. Tradition in wedding takes next level and gives always extra fun when half of wedding couple is not Estonian.
