Bonjour! ‘Tis Saturday and the first Christmassy post of the year 🌟 the Christmas market in Winchester started today and it’s just so pretty (and also SO busy!)
Not sure why my younger self thought they were so sassy but I think my 18 year old self needs to take note (although I’ve definitely retained the same haircut) 📝 ya galllll is 🔞🎉
Life is kind of like art and sometimes you need to look at it in a different perspective in order to realise that sometimes it’s not so great and sometimes it is absolutely fab - this week has definitely made me realise that and that is totally okay 🙏🏻 happy Friday mes amis 🙋♀️
Sometimes you’ve just got to take a step back and realise why you love what you love and I love French and reading and hopefully 🤞 I’ll have a book club post up soon but I’m going to London tomorrow (yay) to watch a Shakespeare play so alas there may be a delay. Side note: the Death Of A Salesman is a très good play and I’d highly recommend
Happy Saturday! I’m literally always happiest when I’m next to food 😉😍 So last night my best friend came round and we watched ‘The Kissing Booth’ and now I’m just falling back into loving teen ‘chick flick’ type movies because who doesn’t love them?!
Spent the day in Bristol yesterday, hardly took any photos but it was actually bliss to just soak up the autumn sun in such a gorgeous city 🌞 (little bit in love with it)
Tb to before my fringe which I’m not regretting when I look at earlier photos 🤔 also missing Stockholm and how easy everything was there!
Layering = my best friend in this transitional weather but I’m actually liking trying out lots of different looks 👀
Swipe right for todays outfit because I’ve finally got my fave vintage coat back out of the wardrobe 💪🏼 + I’ve finally booked to get my hair cut next week which is definitely well overdue
Currently writing a post that should be up either tomorrow or Monday all about Stacey Dooley’s documentary and it’s been so interesting to see the reaction it’s gotten towards fast fashion ❣️ definitely rooting for @sjdooley on strictly tonight!
Cutest horse and a lovely weekend 🌟 fun fact: I’m actually allergic to horses+dogs and have been sneezing the whole day but it was still très enjoyable 😂
Here’s a pic from last summer seeing as I haven’t had time to take pics lately 🌟 I hope your week is going well and that you all have a fabby weekend 😊
📖 NEW POST 📖 this months book club post is up on my blog now and it’s a book from Diderot (which was kind of hard to decipher the true meaning but wow was interesting when I had) and if you want to read my full thoughts then the link to the post is in my bio 🌼
Just come back from seeing ‘The Wife’ @ the cinema and it was interesting, not particularly my type of film but definitely a good study of human nature 🌼 and I’m now sat at my desk writing this weeks book club post 🌷
🌼 NEW POST 🌼 on my blog is one that I think could be quite useful - it’s a tips on how to buy ethically as a student with a kind of honest stance from moi ✍️ the link is in my bio 💗
Here’s to the weekend and rocking the no makeup look because I have eczema on my eye #keepingitreal
I haven’t done a #anewageinspiration interview in a while but I have a new one up today with @wilson_oryema and it’s so worth the read because he is so inspiring and definitely a champion of @emmagannonuk multi-hyphen occupation ✍️ the link is in my bio 😆
Bonjourrrr, it’s Friday, A levels are busy and I’m happy it’s the end of the week so I can chill, watch YouTube + read (although not Satre because I’m not sure I can handle existentialism on a Friday night)
Fancy a new post to read? I’ve got a new one on my blog now! It’s about whether we choose our travel destinations as a result of them being ‘Instagrammable’ and I would 💗 to know your view on the matter - do we? 🤔 the link is in my bio!
Sooo, after a few weeks of not going on a run I attempted one this morning and it did not go well 😬 needless to say I’m happy I got outside and at least ran (or mostly jogged) something
Happy Sunday ⭐️ I need to properly get my head down with my history coursework so making today a phone free day (I hope) but I’m setting some time aside this evening to write one or two blog posts + it’s actually great to feel motivated to write 🍑
In Exeter and it’s so lovely 😍 a new post went up earlier about silk (faux) scarves and how it can be sustainable styling on a budget ⭐️ ft. this very cute floral scarf I bought at an antique market on Sunday
First two days back @ college and it’s already so hectic BUT I’m going to Exeter tomorrow to stay the night for the open day and I’m very excited to visit the university as I’ve heard très good things ⭐️
Trying to think up some new outfit ideas for college with things I already own because I don’t want to buy any new clothes for the new term 🤞I do however have a post going up later this week on an accessory that might make it easier
It’s the 2nd September and for once I’m not really late with my book club post!! I read the English translation of Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter this month so the post is completely in English and I have to say it’s been one of my favourite reads 💛🧡❤️ the link is in my bio
This time last week I was having photos taken in Geneva (post up soon) and how a week changes!!!! I can now say I’ve passed my driving test and I can’t quite believe it 🚗🚘
Geneva was definitely like the end of summer and now it’s back to reality (aka needed to do college work that I’ve been putting off) 🌊
Bonjour! I’ve just put a post on my Instagram stories asking if you guys have any blog posts you’d like to see on my blog so I’d love if you could leave a lil’ comment to let me know! 😉
Currently waiting on the plane to leave Geneva but it’s been the best week and I feel like I’ve learnt so much, met the best people and I can’t wait to see what the future holds 🌈
We went to Environment House today and I feel like I’ve learnt so much more about pollution/sustainability and ways in which we can change our consumption of plastics (resources will be on my blog soon!) but I can’t believe it’s the last night in Geneva 💔
