In all the current chaos, this haven of ours has been such a comfort. We have enjoyed more intimate meals around this table, connected more deeply as a family, are savoring slower days, and learning to be so grateful for every single thing, big or small. ✨ What joys are you finding during these days?
Day 7 of self-quarantine. 🌿 Finding joy in spending this day with my husband and baby girl. Josh kindly obliged to watch Emma with me and laughed and showed genuine interest. I was quite impressed. 😉 He is now going to spend some time with Colette while I work on my first den project for the #oneroomchallenge 🔨💪🏼 I’ll be sharing in my stories what exciting package came in today and my first project so stay tuned! ✨
We are absolutely in love with our new Abisko Quartz White sofa from @article. #sponsored I knew I wanted a white couch for this space to keep things clean and calm. I love how it sits low so it’s perfect for right under our main window in our living room. It’s super comfortable and of course, amazing quality! The texture is also incredibly gorgeous! Check out my stories for a close up/details and keep a look out for a swipe up coming soon to give you $50 off your order of $200 or more! #ourArticle #AbiskoSofa
Book chat! 📖 Reading “Cilka’s Journey” by Heather Morris and I love it so far! I especially appreciate it’s based on a true story. Having no where to be and with all this social distancing, it’s given me more time to catch up on some reading. What are you currently reading? ✨
My stenciled floors are LIVE on the blog!!! I’m sharing everything. The entire process, supplies, (down to paint colors I used) and before/after photos! *Swipe left for what these floors looked like before!* Have you stenciled any floors in your home before or plan to? I highly recommend it! 👏🏼✨
Silver linings: 🌿I get to spend slower days with my loved ones. 🌿I have the opportunity to practice living more sustainably and think before I throw something away or use carelessly. 🌿I have a greater appreciation for the gift of health and for our hospitals, nurses, doctors. 🌿I suspect a rise in personal hygiene and sickness prevention and that’s always a good thing. 🌿I am constantly reminded that God is faithful and a loving God. He’s got this. 🌿I have more time to work on home projects and things I’ve been putting off. 🌿I’m even more grateful for my plants & their air purifying capabilities. 🌿We have this great opportunity to care for our neighbors and serve others by not hoarding but sharing. 🌿There’s always something to be thankful for if you look closely enough.
This is a friendly reminder to keep calm and carry on. 🌾 When everything seems to be falling apart... to know that we can trust God. He has this entire situation in His hands. In the chaotic state of the world right now please remember to keep the weak, fragile, old and young, in the forefront of your mind. Look for ways to help others and save some supplies on the shelves for your neighbors and those who may need things a whole lot more than you and me. In a world where everyone looks out for number one...be sure to keep them in mind. ❤️Have a happy and healthy Friday, friends.
Coco has learned to say the words “book” and “coffee” so she’s pretty set for life I’d say 🤣🥰
Still loving my first project of the year and those stenciled floors! 😍 Today I’m chatting on stories about my next project and all the prep going into it for the #oneroomchallenge (soooo excited, and maybe a little scared 🤪😂). I also got my first shipment of supplies for the project today and I’m unpacking it in stories. Anyone else tackling the ORC or any project this spring?
