As a thank you to my dad, who helps out with our puppies on wedding days, we picked him up some pretty cool cider! It's a cider we found while in California that honors a Star Wars character. The owner of the Cidery is married to the actress who starred in the cantina scene in the original Star Wars, so this cider was crafted in her honor. - As a family tradition, we went to see Star Wars in the theater when it was released every three years in May. It just so happened that my sisters graduated the same year as the films were released, so it was our family thing to go see it together when everyone was in town for graduation. My dad absolutely ADORES all things Star Wars, so this cider seems pretty perfect! It's the Space Bloody Orange Cider from @acecider . They happen to also make the ONLY ciders I'll drink! You should definitely try them! - Planning & Design: @heatherbengeevents Venue: @thewhitesparrow Florals: @detailsdallasflorals @intrigue_designs @flowershackblooms @southerncharmcolorado Rentals: @bigdpartyrentals Vintage Furniture & Rentals: @lovebirdsvintage @golddustvintagerentals Linens: @nuagedesigns Host: @styledshootsacrossamerica
Kendall and Riley had the most romantic wedding on Saturday at Twisted Ranch! I adored her boho bridal style paired with his Marine uniform! You can find their full day, filled with dreamy florals, on the blog today! Click the link in profile to check it out!
I recommend that brides get the bouquet of their dreams, as it shows up over and over and over in your wedding images! Your bridal bouquet will be in your detail photos, your bridal portraits, your first look, your bridal party photos, your processional/recessional photos, your family photos, your romantic portraits, and, most likely, it will also show up somewhere in your reception detail photos. Knowing it will be everywhere in your wedding images, get EXACTLY what you want! - Bouquets that have a just-picked feel are my favorite! This one is from Kendall and Riley's wedding on Saturday! Isn't it GORGEOUS?!?
Cristin and Jordan met online. Her friends signed her up for online dating as a joke, but that's where she met Jordan! The two are now engaged and their Old Settlers Park engagement photos are on the blog. You can find them by clicking the link in profile.
Double tap if you wouldn't mind getting married at this ceremony site of @thewhitesparrow! - The secret to getting the ceremony site (and reception site) photographed before guests arrive is to have it set and ready to go 30 minutes before the ceremony. This way, we can photograph it while you're in hiding, so early guests don't sneak a peek, and getting your make-up retouched. It's also our only chance to do so. After the ceremony, we'll go straight into family photos and guests start putting drinks and purses on the tables. So, if we don't get that full room shot before the ceremony and guests are going straight to the reception after the ceremony, we may not have another chance to do so. Ring goals, am I right?!?! I absolutely LOVED the ring Colin picked out for Mallory to be their engagement ring! We had a fun time trying to get this beauty to balance on flowers, but we made it happen! Also, does anyone know what this Ombre colored flower is?
