(Blog post in bio link) THANK YOU to these amazing women and their children. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer crowd! Such beautifully well behaved children. The only child who refused to smile for the camera was my own son!! (Will post the outtakes soon to give you all a laugh - if only you could have the sound track too ‘no smile, no smile’) I have had a lovely time reading your message and seeing the reactions to your pictures on social media. Thanks again to our amazing host and framer @pfg242 - quite literally couldn’t do it without Mark. Love to you all! Cx.
Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you to the 38 families who came along and supported this year’s Mother’s Day Charity event. We are just working out the final finances but it looks like we hit £1000 for our charity this year @mothers2mothers . Thrilled to see so many of the images being shared on social media. So lovely to see so many mums putting themselves in the picture Huge thanks again to @pfg242 who is a wonderful host for this event and obviously a talented framer for the beautiful end products. #puttingmuminthepicture #mothersday2019
LINK: So the link to sign up is in my bio ^^^ I had to speed up the video a bit to get it within the 1 min video for Instagram!! So if you couldn’t read at that speed (sorry!) then here is what it says... Putting Mum in the picture Mother’s Day Charity Event 2019 Just before my first Mother’s day six years ago, I read a really powerful article... “Someday, I want them to see me, documented, sitting right there beside them: me, the woman who gave birth to them... ...I’m everywhere in their young lives and yet I have very few pictures of me with them. Some day I won’t be here, and I don’t know if that some day is tomorrow or thirty or forty or fifty years from now- but I want them to have pictures of me. I want them to see the way I looked at them, see how much I loved them. I am not perfect to look at and I am not perfect to love, but I am perfectly their mother.” Article by Allison Tate in Huffington Post. This article inspired my annual Mother’s Day Charity Event. Each year I photograph mums with their children (and some grandmothers too) The session fee includes a framed photograph. All profits go to charity. Every year the event sells out. Last year it sold out in just a few hours. So this year I am doing an early release of places for mums who have not previously taken part. If you would like to receive the early release notification, please SIGN UP (link in bio) I hope you can join us this year. Clare x
My cheeky chappy in the February sunshine! Yesterday his nursery carer said he was the class clown! The first time I’ve been told that but probably not the last!!!!
Celebrating my gorgeous nephew being one month old already! He was a little trooper in his newborn session. Lots more photo shoots with him to come. #newmuse #welcometothefamily #newbornphotographeressex #newbornphotographerlondon
HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!! I hope you have all had wonderful days with your loved ones. The making of this year’s Christmas card was literally the most difficult shoot of at least 2018!! The cat wouldn’t budge, my daughter was over excited and my son point blank ignored everything I said to him, whilst my husband shook his head saying ‘what did you expect?’ But it was fun and whilst the pictures are not what I had visualised they capture perfectly our life with these two bundles of fun! Flick through for some outtakes...
