Have I had failures? Um, yeah. I've been rejected hundreds of times. I've sent hundredssss of pitches to brands, to tourism boards, to companies. I've sent my resume to hundresss of jobs, applications, freelance gigs. I've spent a countless amount of hours writing, creating, content, promoting without any foreseeable progress. Have I had successes? Hell yeah! I've earned thousands of dollars from my blog. I did some work for a client in my Airbnb in Cancun after a longgg day swimming uunderground cenotes; that feels like success to me. I began blogging + social media coaching as a direct result of reader interest. But the thing is, any success I had took time, effort, consistency, & a million other moving parts. Any success came with a failure or two (or 300).
Due to citizenship issues, I wasn’t able to leave the United States until I was 17 - except for one trolley ride to Tijuana back when you didn’t need a passport to cross over. 🇲🇽 🚎 Once I finally became a US citizen, my parents took my sister & I on a 6 country trip: Israel 🇮🇱, Switzerland 🇨🇭, Austria 🇦🇹, France 🇫🇷, Czech Republic 🇨🇿, & Hungary 🇭🇺. That was my first taste of travel. My first taste of realizing the world is muuuuuuch bigger than my city, than my state, than the tiny world I knew. How old were you when you had your first taste of travel?? This is Peña de Bernal in the state of Queretaro, Mexico. It’s one of the tallest monoliths in the world. ⛰ I am grateful, blessed, & privileged to be able to travel. Cheers to tequila with a view!! What are you up to today? #queretaro #peñadebernal #penadebernal #peñadebernalqueretaro #monolith #monolito #womenwhotravel #lifeofadventures #culturacolectiva #pueblomagico✨ #pueblomagico #mexicomagico #madeinmexico #persian #natureblogger #natureblog #backwardshat #discoverunder20k #visitqueretaro
The view of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico is what dreams of made of. 🇲🇽 Life is too short to keep going to the same places. When I worked for a timeshare company, it baffled me that someone would go to the exact same resort in the exact same city year after year until they died, that’s not my version of travel but might be someone’s. What about you? What kind of traveler are you: same place you love or someplace new whenever possible? ☺️
& we’re off again. ✈️ 🇲🇽

Your next success lies on the edge of your comfort zone. I got off a coaching call with a client just now & she was so prepared & rocked every question I asked her EXCEPT when I asked “Why haven’t you done it yet?” Fear? The unknown? Difficulties? I told her this: “Do it. Launch. Do not wait one more day. Future you is going to be so psyched that you started today.” _______________________________________________________Whether it’s launching your podcast, sending pitches to tourism boards for 2019 press trips, or getting your ass to the gym, JUST DO IT. Do it for you. Do it so Future You can be like, “Damn, I am so proud of Past Me. I worked really hard for that!” _______________________________________________________ So what’s your “why haven’t you done it yet?” Something just came to your mind, right? Don’t let it go. What was it? Tell me.🤗 _______________________________________________________ #bunkersdelcarmel #bunkersbarcelona #bunkerdelcarmel #losbunkers #barcelonaview #travelwomen #visitbarcelona #topoftheworld #empoweringquotes #motivationalspeech #justdoit✔️ #naturalwavyhair #bestviews #travelblogging #travelogues #instatravelblog #blogcoach #socialmediacoach #coachinglifestyle #coachingonline
