I love family portraits in the fall. Cozy sweaters and colourful leaves? Awesome. The problem is the weather isn't always cooperative. On Sunday, I had marathon of 5 photo shoots booked for that day and unfortunately they all had to be rescheduled due to a storm that passed through. Fortunately, though, I got a couple shoots in on Saturday, including the Norton family.
Last night, I sent Taryn & David the photo gallery of their engagement session and I got this excited reply from Taryn: Wow Ben we love these!! You are so amazing at what you do! And thanks for making us both feel comfortable during the shoot (which is saying a lot considering how awkward we are) When you're being photographed for the first time, you probably feel more awkward than you look, but for most people, it takes a bit of practice to get comfortable with posing and being in front of the camera. This is why I highly recommend doing engagement photos. Just an hour will take you from feeling awkward to comfortable and confident in front of the camera, which comes in handy on the wedding day, when you want your photos to be as good as possible. #westmontrose #westmontrosecoveredbridge #westmontrosekissingbridge #coveredbridge #kissingbridge
Jaime & Steven's first look was less emotional than their meeting at the alter, but no less magical. This little balcony at the Revival House was the perfect place for this intimate moment to take place. #revivalhousewedding #revivalhouse #firstlook
I didn't get a chance to post too many photos from Marissa & Daniel's wedding right after it happened, so I thought I'd share these two frames of each of them with their sides of the wedding party at the beautiful Granite Ridge Golf Club in Milton. #allwedoiswiniarz
