Saturday mornings are for breakfast vegan doughnuts 🍩 and reading books. This morning I’ll be finishing Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson.
I wanted to shout out all these books as they’re being released today 📚 HOW WE ROLL, FAT GIRL ON A PLANE, DEAR RACHEL MADDOW, and a late shoutout to MONDAY’S NOT COMING 😍
I posted some Spring Recommendations on my blog and The Hating Game by Sally Thorne is one of the books on my list! Check out what else I recommend, link can be found in my bio 📚 • • • What would you recommend as a Spring recommendation?
Summer skies are beautiful. Before sunset yesterday the sky was a mix of pink and blue. The sky has mixed like this a few times in the last few weeks and I love it 💕 I’m trying to see the positive in everything, being negative takes too much energy and it’s a waste of time.
It’s been a few weeks... idk why but for the last few weeks I’ve been so uninspired. I didn’t feel like reading, blogging, posting on social media, writing... I didn’t feel like doing anything. I tried but got stuck on what to say. I feel much better now and hope I can keep seeing the positive and brighter side of things instead of letting the negative consume me. Anyway, this is the last book I read before slipping into the darkness... I’ll have a review up within the week 💕 and thank you for sticking around (even when I said I was abandoning this account).
This book is so real! The Red Word is labeled as a campus novel, it covers many important topics and issues campuses face such as rape, feminism, wealth, hate, politics, friendship, relationships and I think it's an extraordinary book. One of the things I love about Karen as a character is that she has an insider and outsider perspective of being in the frat house, because of her boyfriend, and being inside Raghurst, because it's where she lives. We get to see inside both worlds through Karen's perspective and I think it's important to see both sides to understand and sympathize with the characters and the story. 👊🏼 😍 My review is up on my blog! I attended @harpercollinsca @hccfrenzy Spring 2018 Preview Sunday afternoon and I have to say, I had SO MUCH fun! I finally met some bloggers I’ve been talking to on social media and I was able to catch up with some bloggers I’ve met before. ALSO HC just moved into their new offices and it’s absolutely beautiful 😍👌🏼📚
Today’s a rainy, gloomy day but that doesn’t stop the celebration of these two book birthdays 📚 🎉 I read and absolutely loved Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi and I’m currently reading Dreampad by Jeff Latosik. . Review for both these books should be up in the next few days! Thank you Penguin Random House Canada for Dreampad and Netgalley for an ePub of Emergency Contact (and thank you to myself for buying a physical copy) 🙃
