Throwback thursday! Rare times when my studio was neat. I got tired of displaying the stuff because I would always pack them up for conventions. Nowadays it looks like a potato stock room mostly. 😂😂 This room had witnessed all my work all the way from 2010. I will surely miss this place when we finally move out for good. 🎀
Always here for you. Beau has been fighting a fever for two days now so I am also mostly awake for two days checking up on her every now and then. It's the first time Beau had a fever this long. She had fevers before but only lasts for a day. Which also reminds me of those old times I was sick and my late mom was also round the clock checking up on me despite her work schedule as a doctor. And emphasis on my free medical support before lol the perks of having both parents as doctors. When I had Beau it was literally my first time lining up on out-patient department for check-ups which would take hours to queue. I miss my parents it must've been amazing if they were able to meet Beau.
My favorite part of dressmaking. Applique setting
Throwback Thursday! Just some hats I decorated from 2011. I wish I can do this again soon~ 👒🌺🌸
Today's experience is about sharing my awkwardness on national TV. /jk 😂 It's hard to talk about technical things in Filipino even though I'm not really an english-speaker and more comfortable on speaking in my own native tongue. I realized some topics are just really hard to translate and express outside english language. @doroteesweetlips and Philippine Gothic & Lolita Community for GMA TV I Juander fashion episode on Sept 24 8pm. Feel free to cringe on my awkwardness 😂
This photo of my friend, @jennicauytingco wearing my work @doroteesweetlips made me smile today. Talk about effortless beauty. Legit #nofilter #nomakeup queen. So excited for our craft/sewing session this month + our mindful parenting chit-chat.
Blogged about the lolita tea party with the local comm last month for the volume two release of Lolita Memoires. Link in my bio~ 🎀👗 Short video coverage of the event also up at PGLC's page. Just search for Philippine Gothic and Lolita Community in facebook and see the latest post!
Don’t think about what can happen in a month. Don’t think about what can happen in a year. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be. Photo taken in front of the White House of Baguio City. It's a famous haunted mansion in the Philippines. To be honest it looks peaceful and reminds me so much of Totoro. 🌲🍃
Spent my weekends working. I'm so tired but I have to keep going for the future of this little munchkin. I want my finances to be ready by next year as I'm about to face a new phase of parenthood. Beau is turning 4 I can't believe I now have a preschooler *gasp* They grow up so fast huhu! #clingy I'm really considering home schooling as I want her to grow in genuine values rather than rules. Also, contrary to popular belief that homeschooling deprives them of social interaction, for me it's actually the opposite! Homeschooling would allow a child to explore the world more as they learn to manage their time to give way to activities outside school. My options are still open though. We'll see what the universe will unfold for us. 😌
