A Sunday well spent brings a week of content! 🌟 And blog content - I'm feeling super inspired after a few days brainstorming new post ideas 💪🏼 How did you spend your Sunday?
It's not often that I fall in love with hair care products - usually it's just a splash of nourishing hair oil after the shower and I let my locks air dry! But after being introduced to the new @paulmitchelluk Marula Rare Oil hair styling collection, I'm enjoying styling my hair (as long as it's not 30 degrees outside!) . . The biggest shout out goes to the @raremarula hairspray which smells divine, holds style, doesn't go crispy, and makes hair shiny but it greasy. I'm honestly in love! You can read more about the three products in my latest post (clickable link in bio) 💁🏼 . . What is your miracle hair care product? Do you style your hair every day, or let it hang au natural?
Thinking about my blog schedule whilst watching Netflix documentaries 👌🏼 I know you guys told me you want to see more career articles on Dalry Rose and it has become a weekly feature for me to write about life as a #bossgirl and bring you blog/social media tips - topic suggestions always wanted! . . But I also want to bring back some more fashion posts which I feel I haven't been doing as much recently. In fact, I think I need to give my blog some more love because client projects have been full on and I've been to exhausted to put 100% into Dalry Rose, but the creative muse has come back and I'm full of exciting ideas! . . So my lovely readers, please comment below with topic suggestions on ANYTHING you want to see on my blog, and also if you have any post ideas you'd like me to cover! 💋
Happy weekend! 🌸 The three stages of a peony bloom - how beautiful are these flowers? What are you guys up to this weekend? I need some inspo because all I want to do is watch movies and eat 😂
Let's celebrate real friendship and community closeness, joy, adventures, glasses of wine and midnight phone calls - because we can't navigate through life on our own 👯 . . Let's all take a moment today and send love to all the people who raise us up, and make us better versions of ourselves; be thankful to them and let them know we value them 🌸 . . We're not solitary creatures - tag your tribe below and send them a hug! Happy Friday all my lovely people - and thank you for being a part of this amazing journey! 💗🌟
Because everyone loves a #realstagram 😉 This is what I look like on a typical day working from home - the messy bun is constructed by whatever I find lying around, in this case it was a chopstick 😂 . . I drink coffee throughout the day to keep focussed and motivated, listen to horror podcasts whilst I do work (@lorepodcast and Unexplained podcast are my favourite!), the uniform is whatever t-shirt I can find paired with skinny stretchy jeans (shout out to @lidluk for this awesome top!), and I'm almost always dehydrated because I suck at drinking enough water - so today I bought two packs of small water bottles to carry around with me. . . This is the beginning of my business and I wanted to take a snap of today so that I can look back in 5 years time and remember what it was like at the beginning. How far has your business come in the last 5 years? Do you remember what it was like in the first year of growing?
Ready to hit Thursday hard - I've just heard the storm starting, so today is all about client SEO, website development and product photography for local businesses 📸✨
Summer afternoon - to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language. Henry James . . Fun fact - I used to have a friend seagull when I lived in Bath. Her name was Peter and she nested right next to my rooftop window. I gave her food and spent some time with her - after a week she used to wake me up with the sunrise screaming at me to feed her, and then get inside my room and sit at my desk whilst I got ready.
There are times in our lives when it's hard to keep your sanity: buying homes, breaking up, moving to a different country, having a baby, starting your own business... Well I'm here to talk about the latter - how do you keep sane whilst starting and growing your business? . . Stress can sometimes work in our favour - I know many people who work great under pressure and actually I sometimes prefer having super tight deadlines because then a whirlwind of creativity takes over and it's like having a competition with yourself! But sometimes stress can really take its toll and lead to the dreaded: BURNOUT 🔥🙅🏼 . . In my latest blog post I talk about the real pressures of being a freelancer and setting up your own business - and how to avoid burning up and giving up. Clickable link in bio - and can I get a double tap for this beautiful sunset?! 🌅
