Girls night in 🐶💗 Whilst the man of the house is away working, Jess and I have an evening filled with treats (mine are from the incredible @maggiesbakery__), PJ’s and crap TV on @netflixuk that just wouldn’t capture @liammolloyre’s attention - Vampire Diaries anyone, or is it just me rewatching old favourites?✨ Having some time to treat yourself after a long week is so important - to reward yourself and recharge 🙌🏼 How do you celebrate a successful week and enjoy the weekend? 🥂
I woke up to a very rainy morning here on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, getting all the cosy vibes with a cup of hot herbal tea and leggings + sweater situation. Maybe even my fluffy winter socks - if you haven’t guessed, I love being warm and cosy. Days like today are perfect for settling down to be creative without distractions - if anything, I think there is something romantic about working next to the window when it’s raining, and letting your creativity and imagination run free. Something I’ve been thinking about (and now want to put it to you) is setting up a separate account on insta purely for Dalry Rose Digital to share daily tips and hints on digital marketing and social media, host creative takeovers, and interview inspiring business owners. I feel like on this account, I tell the story of multiple levels of my life but I want to bring value to you in the best way I can - so would you enjoy having a place where we can chat all things digital like ALL the time? Let me know in the comments below 👇🏼
All the summer vibes from @op_stockbridge ✨ Now can we just have the sunshine back, pretty please? We recently launched the online boutique for this Stockbridge based gift shop and enabled Instagram shopping - so make sure you pop by to have a browse! 👩🏼💻 This was the first e-commerce website I worked on and it was so much fun - not only working with a brand I love but also learning new elements to CMS management, as well as the admin and logistics of what it’s like to run a shop online. And I have to admit, I’m now hooked on working within Shopify 😂 Photo by the lovely @gemmabruntonphotography 📸
Have you met Jessica the sprollie? 🐶 Jessica is a 14month springer x border collie who joined our pack a week before Christmas - a true festive miracle! We didn’t plan on getting another dog but simply popped into our local @dogstrust_salisbury to drop off our donations, when we saw an inquisitive, bright eyed, side to the head madam staring at us from across the screen. When we found out Jess was only 8 months old and previously a stray, we knew we couldn’t leave her - and signed the papers then and there. Jess quickly became Harvey’s best mate 🐶🐶, and was the light around us when we found out Harvey had cancer which he passed away from in March. We miss him every day, but he taught Jess so much! Jessy is the most clever little (big) dog - she’s quickly learnt her basic behaviour and we cannot wait to get her to big girl school (gun dog) so she can continue with training. She’s also showed signs of being an incredible support dog - lack of vitamins and iron left me a little too light headed on our of our walks and I passed out, only to wake up with Jess over me, nudging me to wake up 💗 She is the most loving little creature - always snuggly, always affectionate, always wants to make new friends. When @liammolloyre is away, Jess and I love to snuggle up in bed and watch films - she is the only dog I know who pays attention to what’s going on onscreen - especially during David Attenborough documentaries 🌏 Jessica goes by many nicknames: Jessy, JJ, baby bear, monkey nut, moo moo... to name a few. Jess is my best friend, work buddy, and fur baby and I’m so excited for our adventures together! We’re already planning a little camping trip with her and @liammolloyre when we can - she loves new experiences and we love sharing them with her! Who do you share your daily life with?
Oysters, anyone? 🦪 We has the best dinner this weekend thanks to @the_fox_crawley and their fresh fish to order! I bought some fresh Cornish mussels and a selection of Cornish and Brownsea Island oysters which I have been missing so much since the cancellation of most foodie festivals this summer - special delivery also dropped off to my mama! Liam cooked up his seafood speciality - mussels with cider and cream sauce served with local bread from @loverosebourne 🙌🏼 My favourite thing to come out of lockdown has definitely been the local food delivery boxes and produce to order - who are your favourites? Tag the accounts below so we can keep supporting local businesses!
Happy Friday from our little family 🐾 It may be windy and a little chilly this weekend, but we’re still celebrating 7 years of ups and downs, challenges and celebrations, date nights and big fights, milestones and career goals, sad losses and new fur babies, but always together 🥂😘 Wouldn’t want to be debating about home decor with anyone else but you babe 😂💗 @liammolloyre
Happy Monday my lovelies - has it been a good one? ✨ My Monday’s set me up for the week - although always a busy day, an organised Monday means I’m bound to have a good week ahead. I start my Mondays earlier than most days and allow an extra hour in the morning to prep my diary before I get started on client work. I try to do this on Sunday nights, but a lot of the time I revel in the stillness of the day and end up choosing a movie and a takeaway instead, with the knowledge I’ll happily sacrifice and extra couple of hours of sleep to start the week well. I’m a sucker for diaries and planners - genuinely don’t know what I would do without them! I finally purchased the @cgdlondon Getting Stuff Done planner which has been amazing - it honestly is the best diary I have used so far to keep my days on track. I plan my work, my meetings, my meals, my workouts, my coaching sessions and any other things I need to remember - which is typically a lot! When my week is laid out in front of me on Monday, I feel like I’ve got my sh*t together. Writing things on paper puts the wheels in motion - anyone else love a good paper diary? I also like to make an effort to dress up (especially in lockdown!) but also some days I just want my joggers and a sweater which makes me feel cosy and comfortable - and sometimes you just need that for creativity to flow. I’m also one for not knocking working from your bed - especially if you’re feeling under the weather. Some of my most productive sessions have been propped up against a pillow hiding behind my duvet! Everyone is different when it comes to productivity - I like to be alone in my creative space with no distractions. Candles, fresh flowers, and favourite music. Dog snoozing in the corner. Smell of my favourite latte. Jug of water with berries or herbs to keep hydrated. Diary in view - plan for the week ahead always in sight. Perfect. What are your Monday productivity tips? Do you have a routine you follow? Share them with me - I’d love to know and be inspired! 💕
Weekend spent mainly outdoors on dog walks 🐶🐾 The fresh air has been great and we found a new lovely place to explore on our canine adventures! We’re ending Sunday on a lazy note: pizza and movie night. Nice and restful so Monday can begin with lots of energy and motivation! How did you spent your weekend?
Weekend walkies 🐾 Jessica made a new friend, and I had a long overdue catch up with @heidibawdenvideo whilst exploring our local woods 💕 Fresh air, good chats, fluffy paws make a great weekend morning ✨
