Over here just trying to be more like the flowers- especially the wild ones!! I'm realizing there is a lot to learn from them. They worry less about their doing and more about their being. Sometimes I find myself finding my worth in how much I can do and accomplish, but truly my worth is in what God has already done for me and is still doing in me. I was made to bask in The Presence of The Son, just like they bask in the sun. “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!“ Luke 12:27-28 // more on my blog, link in bio. 🌼

Love you a whole lot Dad❤️
Got to spend a day with my mama and my sister!! Had lunch at the soda fountain at my dad's drug store. Basically lived there when I was little wrapping gifts and cleaning displays (and lots of coloring at the booths)...and my pay was Blue Bell ice cream. Best childhood.😛🍦
Back in Virginia this past weekend for some friends' wedding and WOW was it at a beautiful place!! Talking now about all the places we want to see at the end of summer after camp...anybody have fun travel plans?! I wanna hear!😍🌎
It's crazy that your 16th birthday was the first birthday we spent together. It feels like we've known each other so much longer! We really have done so much life together these past 5 years though! You were there during so many of my sweetest and favorite memories! You bring so much fun and excitement to the table Sadie and I'm excited to watch you in your 21st year. Happy Birthday sister, I love you a lot!☀️☀️☀️
Outdoor weddings and friends and flowers and sunshine...what more could ya ask for?!💐

This Louisiana heat is some kind of HOT!! Always, always, always ready for a snowball at @theicecabin 😍🍧big fan of the peach and piña colada flavored ones😋
2 dogs are a lot harder to carry than 1!🐶🐶 swipe over to see me and Pippa last year at camp! This year we added another dog, Timber, and Pippa grew her hair back out. Thinking they need hair cuts for this Louisiana heat, but they're just so stinking cute!
I've been thinking back on our time in Guatemala and I just wanted to share with you guys something that someone told me that really hit me. Before the trip we were skyping with the non-profit we would be traveling with and one of them said, Why would someone want to believe in Jesus if they don't even have access to clean water? I was like WOW. When we take care of each other's physical needs, I think it goes further than we realize. Our desire to help them can make them feel valued as a person, cared for, and loved. Then we just owe that love we were able to pour out, back to the One who first loved us. If you're wanting to make a difference, check out the link in my profile. ❤️❤️ @fltrmvmnt
Just thought I'd introduce myself because I don't think I've ever done that haha, so here's a little about me that you may or may not know. I am 22 years old and I'm from Delhi, Louisiana. Growing up I played a lot of softball, did a lot of swimming in the lake I lived on with my sister Kelly, and spent any other time in the summers eating ice cream at the soda fountain at my dad's drug store (fun fact it's the oldest in the state! E.W. Thomson Drug). Met my now husband when I was 15 at summer camp. We got married right after he graduated and right after my 19th birthday. Our wedding was a special on his family's tv show, Duck Dynasty, so my life became a little more public after that! We headed off for school at Liberty University in Virginia and have been there now for 3 years and love it. I'll finish school in the next year with an interdisciplinary degree studying Bible and Fine Arts. I've got two pups, Pippa and Timber. Also I've got a 4 year old little brother who my parents started fostering when he was 5 months old. I love art and books and movies and tennis and anything outdoors. I also have a blog, The Little Duckwife. My whole family has Lyme Disease which is kind of a bummer but cool to see the Lord's faithfulness through it all. Which brings me to my last thing, I am a believer in Jesus Christ and that's really what it's all about!! HE is the reason for my joy and life and I owe everything to Him and His graciousness. Would love to learn more about you guys if you wanna leave a comment!🤗❤️
I call this Sadie and Mary Kate vs. The Waves: A Series 🌊☀️❤️
Hey YOU! Gotta tell you something. Fun picture but actually we have to get serious. May is Lyme Disease Awareness month and it is SO👏🏼SO👏🏼 important for you to be educated so PLEASE just take a sec to read this. My whole fam has it and I truly don't want you to get it. Lyme Disease comes from ticks, but can also be passed from mother to child, and possibly sexually. So 1- Wear bug spray this summer. 2- If you pull a tick off of you it's better to be safe and go ahead and go to a dr. so they can start you on an antibiotic. Usually a tick with lyme leaves a bullseye rash, but not always. 3- if you get a bite and start feeling flu-like symptoms, you're probably dealing with Lyme. So please just be safe and keep an eye out for yourself and your loved ones!💚💚💚💚 #lymediseaseawareness #lymedisease #lyme
