I haven’t seen my Dad in 4 years! Here we are, listening to him play guitar, reminiscing over photos and stories, and my heart is happy ❤️
I have approximately 0.05 seconds to pose baby and snap a decent photo before he rolls over. So I gave up and put the sticker on his back and called it a day 😂 He’s a horrid sleeper but loves to laugh and play, aaaaand has the softest little downy head ever. 😁❤️
This is summer: blueberry grins, swim suits, and back yard shenanigans 😍
We are still feeling the affects of our move 6 months ago. These two little girls are yearning for good friends. They are desperate and loyal and try to be best friends with our neighbors, who in turn, treat them a little like chopped liver. It breaks my heart. It has become my prayer, that they may find a dear friend or two who will show them the meaning of true and beautiful friendship. ❤️
May we all feel as cool as Scarlet thinks she is 😁
We haven’t been able to travel anywhere really cool for a while, so I’ve been reminiscing A LOT. What I would give for a gondola ride up the Swiss mountains again! Brent and I have been talking about planning a trip back to Europe in a few years, for vacation this time! Revisit a favorite or go somewhere new? 🤔🤔🤔 In the meantime, I need to get cracking on our U.S. bucket list!
Picked up my first #Farmbox today! $25 for all this fresh produce! Asparagus, strawberries, broccoli, zucchini, lettuce, tomatoes...and more...including Turnip greens. How do I use those? I’ve no idea!
Weekend trip to Branson, MO. Brent was the guest speaker at the College of the Ozarks Nursing Pinning and Blessing Ceremony, and we got to enjoy the company of family and good friends! Thankful for my Mom on this lovely Mother’s Day, and wishing I could accurately and eloquently express how much she means to me and the sacrifices she made for her children. ❤️
We are all dressed up and ready to go to Brent’s work event! Look at Calvin’s wee little head 😁
📰 Daily News: The Popsicle Society conducts a meeting and local backyard squirrel shenanigans.
We went to a fabulous Amish/Mennonite store this morning, but basically we went as a three-ring circus. It was almost a disaster in my mind (what was I thinking to agree to 3 child carts?), but hopefully we didn’t make too much of a scene 🙈 the girls loved the store, as did I, and we can’t wait to try our fresh bread and local honey!
I sure do miss traveling. Italy was one of our last big adventures before we moved back to the states. The city of Rome was worth the hassle of wrangling three kiddos through its crowded streets. To see the beautiful monuments and ruins of grand and ancient buildings I had only previously read about, was truly amazing. Our experience living and traveling in Europe provided us with many memories we will cherish for a long, long time! ✈️
“Mom, this is you when you got married.” Bless her heart. I love it.
Budding pianist. Yes, I know the sound of the “piano” is pretty lame, but look at the dedication of the artist! Such flair! Such serious concentration! Not to mention the classic, custom piano stand 👌
Happy explorers today 🐟🐌🍃
