Good racing on the weekend. A third place finish in Senior VIIIs for our first boat, and an unfortunate bent rudder for our 2nd VIII. Fun way to kick of 2020.... see you next year. #upthetin #Quintinhead credit @maaaaaaaaak for the great snaps.
Thanks @active_tools for supporting Quintin Head tomorrow. Can’t wait for racing to begin and see who will win those Cox orbs! For those that haven’t heard, the start time has been pushed back 15 minutes, to ensure tide has time to turn against the large quantities of land water coming downstream. #QuintinHead #UptheTin
Some great results for Quintin yesterday at Scullers Head, with Max Murdock winning novice, Mark Chatwin Masters B and Tom Bishop Masters H. There were 🥈 for Mike Ewing in senior, who was also 9th overall, Jonathan Ferris in Masters F and Pete Meaney in Masters G. We’re now counting down the days to the Tideway’s next major spectacle #Quintinhead #bringinghomethebacon #upthetin
A good day at the office today. Particularly for our Champ 4+ coming in 4th while our Band 2 4+ placed 7th and Band 2 4- in 20th, in their respective categories #Upthetin #fourshead
Quintin has 5 boats racing pairs head tomorrow. 2 senior pairs, and IM 2x and 2 Masters doubles (G&H). Will we see a repeat of last year and bring home some pennants? #upthetin #PairsHead #bringhomethebacon #Quintin

We get cracking once again on the 14th of September. We are looking for new athletes and coxes to add to our Senior Men’s squad, as we build towards Henley Royal Regatta. Last year we took 9 new athletes to Henley Royal, none of whom had competed at the regatta before. This year we are looking to take 3+ boats to the Henley and if you want to be a part of that DM or send an email to
Our squad contains athletes from all levels of the sport, from those that have won Henley medals to those just starting out in the sport. We are not interested in minimum erg requirements etc, but are looking for people who want to challenge themselves and commit. Our programme generally consists of 4 water sessions on the weekends and 4 in the gym through the week, which are often completed by members away from the Boat Club due to work or studying commitments. We have 3 dedicated coaches, led by Olympic Silver medalist and Henley Steward Fred Smallbone. To add to this, planning permission has just been granted for a major expansion to the club, which will include a new boat house with 8 new boat bays, and a new gym. Our fees are also some of the best value in London with full years subs costing £480, with 50% off for those that are students, under 21 or in their first year out of full time education. We look forward to hearing from you! #Quintin #Newseason #Wewantyou #Henleyherewecome #biggerandbetter #Thames #Tideway #rowing #remo #rudern #Canottaggio
