Getting back to normal after TWO WEEKS of rest & recovery from vacation at the beginning of the month. I'm traveling for work, but resuming my normal workout routine and nutrition habits. I definitely added a little extra fluff on vacation -- and enjoyed every minute. How do I get back on track? Here are a few tips: 1. Daily movement -- might be as little as walking on rest day, strength training 3-4 x per week, or running. 2. Focus on veggies. LOTS of veggies!! This can be harder on the road, so I travel with my favorite greens powder to increase my daily intake. 3. Consistent daily supplements to fill in the gaps & increase energy in my body -- my favorite multi, omega 3, & cellular complex twice a day. Plus a probiotics + digestive enzyme. 4. SLEEP!! Often overlooked, but I schedule 8+ hours of sleep each night. 5. Eat only until 80% full -- this helps easily reduce your intake just enough to help move things in the right direction. Even in the road! Do you take time off of workouts each year? 👇👇 Tell me in the comments!!
Solo touring in Hong Kong today - I used the Hop On Hop Off buses as my tour guide & made it to many areas of the city I didn't see on my last visit. This photo is from Aberdeen, a floating community with the Jumbo Seafood Restaurant as the anchor. 👉Swipe right on this photo & watch my Instagram Story for more of today's adventures!
Hey there!! Heather here & I think it's time for #fridayintroductions!! A bit about me: ✴1. I am happily married to @gkblackmon with two furry kids -- we just celebrated our 16 year weeding anniversary! 💍🐶🐶 ✴2. I 💚 my holistic, healthy lifestyle - which basically means I move as often as possible (usually weights or running), eating according to my goals (usually), and keeping things as natural as possible (rocking my oils to help here!).👟 ✴3. I'm also a wine & beer snob, so you'll often find me enjoying a glass or 2 of wine, local brew, or my hubby's delicious homebrew creations. Balance is GOOD!! 🥂🍺 ✴4. I LOVE to travel - for work or pleasure. They often go together anyway. I'm just back from Alaska & currently headed to Hong Kong & Munich for the next two weeks. 🛫 ✴ 5. In my spare time, I also run my own natural health & fitness business. I absolutely love helping women transform their bodies & lives, increase their energy, & thrive!! I work with clients around the world as an endurance coach, personal trainer, and essential oil educator. Yep, I'm always a little busy, but ❤ every minute!!🏃💃 Now it's your turn -- introduce yourself in the comments!! 👇👇

A few scenes from Sitka yesterday. It was a warm, sunny day in Southeast Alaska and we hiked through the woods to find the local brewery. We're here for another day today & headed out for a cycling tour of the island!
