You know the saying... the couple who stretches post-run together, stays together! 🏃😉 4 miles of trail running this morning. I felt like I was dragging, but finished with my fastest time on the loop yet. I think climbing the 7 flights of stairs twice a day at work must be helping!!
Raise your hand if you started the week with a workout?! 🙌 This weekend was a little weird for me, as Sunday started with a strange allergic reaction that caused half my face to swell up. No idea what caused it, but it slowly faded throughout the day after staying indoors & using my oils to help reduce inflammation. Woke up normal today, so I'm not quite sure what to think. On the bright side, leg day felt great!
We have a new Friday #Coffeedate tradition! Starting the day by bringing our #bulletproof coffee up to the trail behind our house and enjoying this gorgeous view before starting our Friday. Do you have a midweek tradition to slow down before the day gets busy?
This week is kicking my butt -- I've been so sore after the Tough Mudder last weekend. Runs have been harder than they should be, so I know it's even more important to stretch!! Why stretch after a workout? 🌟Reduce muscle fatigue 🌟Increase flexibility 🌟Help muscles recover faster Do you stretch after your workouts?
Are your actions leading you to average or AMAZING?! I encourage you to get out of the diet mentality and focus on changing your lifestyle to match your goals. Consistently!! Because you are so worth it.💙😙
I didn't want to run tonight. We were supposed to run a race this weekend, which isn't going to work out. I was worn out from the day. And just wanted to sit down & chill. Instead, I immediately put on my running clothes, started diffusing my favorite energizing & motivating oils (Wild Orange & Peppermint), swiped some Motivate blend one my wrist & chest, turned on PLL on my DVR, and hit START! What is your routine to get MOVING when you are so not in the mood??
