When in Budapest, you have to eat Chicken Paprikash with dumplings. These dumplings always reminds me of spaetzle & soak up all the yummy sauce. Plus I found the perfect spot to enjoy this lunch with a view of Matthias Church! The weather is perfect here & I'm tying to spend as much time a possible outside to stay awake (adjusting timezones). #Budapest
In case you thought I always focus on healthy eating -- here's a peak into last night's Whiskey & Doughnuts event. We found two new distillers we love (Woods + 300 Days of Shine) & ate doughnuts for dinner. LOTS of doughnuts!! 🍩🍩🍩 No guilt - just lots of fun. Although today I may eat a pile of veggies. Balance!! 😁
You know that feeling when you have 725,418 other things to do INSTEAD of running? Yea, that was me this weekend. Now I did spend most of the weekend painting cabinets, but I still had to force myself out the door on Sunday night to finally get it done. Once I got going, I feel into a rhythm and had a great run!! So remember this when your list of excuses gets long. Then lace up your shoes and start moving.🏃
Sitting in airports for hours is the less glamorous side of travel... but looking back at this photo from yesterday's morning run is why I love it!! 🏃 It's worth the boredom to see views like this around the world. Even when you have to dodge crazy scooter drivers during your run. Because they are INSANE in Shanghai -- I'm pretty sure they were trying to take me out. But I survived them all!! 🤣
Isn't an EMPTY gym a beautiful thing?! Finished my strength workouts for the week, before heading back on a long flight tomorrow. This week was packed full, but I fit evening in with morning workouts. I don't typically choose mornings, because I have early meetings when I'm home -- but during travel weeks they are KEY!! That way when evening plans come up, you already finished your workouts are already finished. 👇 How about you - when is the best time of day for you normally??
Finally made my way to the Bund in Shanghai last night. It's a beautiful view with the reflecting lights on the water, don't you think? We crossed the river and had a cup of tea from the other side, catching the opposite view (the third photo). #shanghai
