  • Here we are... the last day of 2020, finally. 🙏🏼 We sure did not get here easily, did we, friends? In a year where so many have lost so much... jobs, experiencing life milestones, time together, losing loved ones, it was a long year filled with uncertainty and lessons. Like learning to not take anything for granted and to appreciate the little things... a walk in the park, a zoom call with a familiar face. 💕 To find contentment and happiness within your own four walls. To cherish relationships and reach out to those you love and tell them that. To check in more, to be present. To teach our children, and ourselves, that slowing down is OK and you can find joy right where it matters most... at home. Nothing is guaranteed, and I certainly didn't remain unscathed in this year of disappointment. I recently joined the millions of others who have lost their job because of 2020's unrelenting hardships. 😔 The agency I worked for and helped build over the last few years was unable to survive and had to make the difficult decision to close its doors. Just one final round in our bout against what undoubtedly is a year we all can't wait to bid farewell to. This isn't a pity party though, quite the opposite. It is the first chapter in a story of resilience and strength. 💪🏼 Of building back, of showing our character and what we're made of. Of holding tight to the reminder that everything we already wanted, we likely already had. Cheers to the little things, the special moments, the promise of a new day. 💫 Happy New Year to you and yours.   • I’m kind of dreading seeing all of the holiday lights and cheer go you guys. ✨ I’m not at all ready to take down my tree and I definitely am not ready to say goodbye to the twinkling lights around our neighborhood and city. Can’t they just stay up for awhile... at least throughout the winter?! ☃️ All in favor say YAY!! I have trusted @matys for years as my only go-to product that is truly natural. 🌱 They only use ingredients that we know and can pronounce like lemon peel, sea salt, chamomile, marjoram, and cinnamon.
