“No other option but to give my last few games wearing #23 all I got 😤🏀” And boy has he. A career high 23 points against Slippery Rock. Did we also mention that he’s a @psacsports and Edinboro scholar-athlete, boasting a 3.65 GPA? #GoBeck #GoBoro 📷 @michaelbeck23
We still love these #EULove stories so much. Here’s another story from @laur0440: “My husband, AJ, and I met at Edinboro our junior year in 2007! Our mutual friend played matchmaker to get us together and the rest was history! We now live in Washington, DC and have a daughter! Our years at ‘Boro meant so much to us, that we even gave her the middle name, Edine, which is Scottish for from Edinburgh.”We are a tartan family and forever proud! 😍” - AJ and Lauren (Gardner) Clore
The sun is out in Edinboro, and so is Sunni! Friends and EU students @susiieg and @maggsmcdermott enjoy a casual walk around campus with Sunni, who’s clearly enjoying the weather. #GoBoro
Katerina Findley and James Wilson Jr.: “A little over four years ago, I met my soulmate at Edinboro University. We had Politics 101 together. He sat directly in front of me all semester, but never spoke one word to me (passing the sign in sheet was it). I was shy, and he claims I was out of his league. The summer after that semester, a mutual friend connected us after he asked her about me. Several Chick-fil-A dates later, we started dating. We both graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He proposed about a month ago and now we are planning our wedding! We are so blessed that Edinboro University led us together. ❤️ #EULove”
#EULove story from John and Laine (Wilson) Wooliscraft: We were both art majors and earned our BFAs at Edinboro. We met in 2005 during the first class of our major, Intro to Film. We spent that first year getting to know each other, and a year later, I asked him to collaborate on a film project with me in the fall of 2006. We became good friends and started dating shortly after. We spent the rest of our time at Edinboro U working together in the art department, organizing events for the Film Club, being involved in on-campus theater productions, and volunteering at ETV. After college we worked at the Boro Bar right in town, and got married in the summer of 2009 — right on Edinboro University's campus! Our wedding ceremony took place in Cole Auditorium with a beautiful reception afterward in Van Houten (shout out to our amazing wedding photographer, Jennifer White — another Edinboro alum!). We still talk about how much fun our wedding was — and how good the food. In 2010 we moved to Pittsburgh for graduate school, and stayed in the city to join the workforce here. In the last eight years, we earned our MFAs, traveled around and outside of the U.S., were adopted by a rescue cat, and right now, we're getting very close to buying our first house!”
It’s a Billie Holiday sighting! Actually, it’s Anjali Wright, a junior biology major and Spanish minor, participating in Edinboro’s first-annual #BlackHistoryMonth Live Museum.
It’s the first day of Edinboro’s #BlackHistoryMonth Live Museum, and graduate student Erika Muhammad is depicting civil rights icon and scholar Angela Davis. Muhammad is studying clinical mental health counseling and rehab at EU. #GoBoro
