#Coronavirus has now hit that much closer to home. #RIP to Ed Williams, DJ Pressler. #edmfamily This was the first time I shared a stage with Ed, in 2008 at Boxer’s Ringside in Durham. His set was a progressive slam dunk... and he was one of the nicest DJs I’d met. At that time, I was a complete mess and out of control. After I left rehab, Ed kept up with me and always had encouraging words for me. We didn’t have many opportunities to hang out, but he always seemed remember my #sobriety milestones. It breaks my heart to have to write this. He was a #marine, young, and to the best of my knowledge perfectly healthy. Don’t play games with your life, or with anyone else’s. Your “freedom” and “liberties” are meaningless if you don’t live to enjoy them. The CDC guidelines are to keep you safe. I don’t want anyone else to know what this feels like. ❤️
