Decided to take advantage of a smudge-free mirror while at my parents house this weekend and mark this halfway point! The old me would’ve edited out those stretch marks but I’m just so much more comfortable in my own skin than I was with my first two pregnancies in my 20s. I’m proud of this body and what it’s capable of. #20weekspregnant #babynumber3

Obsessed with this picture from today’s podcast guest finding out the sex of baby! . . Brie developed hypertension late in her first pregnancy and delivered her daughter on Father’s Day after an exhausting 3 day long induction at Stanford Children’s Hospital. . . After a thankfully unremarkable second pregnancy, her son was born at home in a birth pool in their dining room after a powerful six hour labor on Valentine’s Day. Listen to today’s episode to hear the whole story! ❤️ 📷@samanthanoelphotography
Did you know you can get your breastpump for free through insurance BEFORE baby is born? I’ve heard from several moms who ended up pumping in the hospital or right away when they got home due to an unexpected birth story for their sweet baby. The hospital should provide you with a pump while you’re there but it would also be great to have the one you’ll be using at home on hand to learn the ins and outs with the help of the staff there too. Go to aeroflowbreastpumps.com/birthhour and @aeroflow_breastpumps will take care of dealing with your insurance and your doctor/midwife all at no cost to you and get you set up with your breastpump. #partner ❤️ Thank you so much to @ivys_mama for sharing her journey with her sweet NICU baby. ・・・ “This photo is raw, unedited, and could possibly offend some people- but hey since I’m sharing my NICU journey why not share it all. Pumping for a preemie has nothing resembling the normal breastfeeding experience. It’s hard, it’s annoying, but it’s also beautiful in it’s own way. I am fortunate enough to be able to still provide for my preemie babe. Even though some days are tough and the pumping output is small to none, I feel empowered by being able to produce this “liquid gold” for my girl.“ #preemie #preemiebaby #preemiestrong #fightlikeagirl #fightlikeapreemie #nicubaby #nicumom #nicudad #micropreemie #26weeker #hellpsyndromesurvivor #preeclampsia #pumpingmom #pumpingforpreemies #breastmilk 📷 @ivys_mama
Today’s podcast episode is with Chamblee who shares her experience finding out her daughter had spina bifida and making the decision to undergo fetal surgery (which was very successful!). She also shares her premature birth story (at 32 weeks) and how she is doing today!
