Another day, another round of how long can I balance on the floor cushion without causing bodily harm.
First hike of 2020! We went on a mama & sons hike this morning with friends while the dads went mountain biking. I tried out a more compact carrier with Ollie and he feel asleep 15 minutes in so I hunched over like this pretty much the whole hike😂 worth it to be outside in the sunshine!
His favorite place to perch lately. I saw this chart (swipe right) that followed the path of kids at different ages for 7 minutes, and I finally feel understood😂 my cute busy boy.
The Christmas card I would've sent if I had prioritized it: Merry Christmas sweet friends! We hope your holidays are full of love + family. Here's a little recap of our 2019. Me: Repainted the office, laundry room and kitchen nook. Have kept a 5' Fiddle Leaf Fig alive for three months now! Reduced work load from 30 hours a week with lots of customer service to 3 hours of only design + marketing and love it! Spend my days following Ollie around and preventing medical emergencies. Tayler: Remodeled a 2003 Sprinter utility van into a camper van. Getting into mountain biking. Started working from 5:30am-2pm and we love having him home so early. Took us on 5 National Park trips (and almost as many trips to the auto shop😂) Oliver: 14 months. Adores neigh neighs and dog dogs. Happiest when he's running + exploring. Loves reading books with mama. Had to hide the book basket in his room because it made him too excited at night. We love his dimples and kisses.
A Temple Square tradition with our light-obsessed marshmallow.
Ollie has been a little dreamboat this past week. Super happy, figuring out how to make his tiny legs run, and he transitioned from 2 naps a day to 1 nap better than I could've hoped! Mom victories😂 I'm excited to be able to go out more instead of hurrying home for the next nap!
I thought I hated having Thanksgiving so late this year but now I've reconsidered. A holiday weekend to launch us into December?! Amazing! We gave Ollie his new Christmas PJs today + we are ready to get FESTIVE.
One big basket full of cheese for your Thanksgiving Eve.
This boy is a CHARACTER. He's evolving from my little baby to my little buddy and I love having the front row seat to his life. Our days are full of leg hugs, dumping things out (him) and cleaning them back up (me) and laughing at each other. Swipe to see us one year ago!
