I'm getting an early start on holiday decorating! I love this collage of vintage, handmade ceramics because each one tells a story. I was given the two angels last year, one has Merry Christmas 1981 on the bottom and they were either made by my mother or grandmother (they attended ceramics classes together). The adult figurines are engraved AK, so made by my Nana, undated. The small children figures are engraved JD so made by my grandmother, undated. The tree belonged to my Nana, it was a gift from a relative, undated. I fondly remember all of these pieces from my childhood! I especially love that I get to prominently display them all together in my home.
Our last big, outside project for the year is greenhouse 7. A big job like this is best managed when broken down into smaller steps. Can you see the progress made today? Not much to show, but all the little bits do add up and are much appreciated! With a self-imposed Thanksgiving deadline, some of this project will likely carry over to 2018. And that's okay too. #myevergreenfarm #ourevergreenlife #greenhouse
