Guess who's out Indiana Jonesing in ancient temples? Not me, that's who. Still in London, but I'm living out my adventurer fantasies at the Barbican 🌿
Good morning! Finally Saturday! This is not my apartment, the pic is from a hotel in Bath. And I wish I was there right now, but I'm guessing I'm just moody because I haven't had any coffee yet ☕ 💙
Even the most vicious of beasts needs to nap now and then
Having a lil identity crisis at the mo. Cut my hair in the sink because I saw a photo of Courtney Love without bangs, and I was like: wow some people look better in bangs, and then I had a mini epiphany and thought to myself - what if I'm one of those people? In summary: now I look like a fourteen year old 😂 (the photo symbolises my mini epiphany ofc)
Is it possible to have a midlife crisis when you're 27? Asking for a friend
Today's outfit: #accidentalrenaissance
I don't go to Picadilly Circus or Oxford Street very often (not a big fan of crowds) but I took this photo last year and it's still the most London-looking photo I've ever taken... so I got that going for me, which is nice 🤸
Missing my besties (autocorrect wanted me to write beasties which, now that I think about it, is surprisingly accurate) in Sweden. Come over for some family time why don't ya? Spent my morning getting cat vomit out of the carpet, I hope your Monday started better than that 😹
It's #caturday and I'm a bit ill (I have a cold like always
My bf looking like she solemnly swears she's up to no good
It's his birthday today and once again I'm trying to decide whether or not I should buy him a gift card on Steam (the only thing he wants), or take my chances on something a bit more creative (who am I kidding? I'm probably going to get him the gift card, like every year 😂). Don't worry about him seeing this, he's never on instagram. The gift card can still surprise him (...probably not). Me = girlfriend of the year (...probably not). Ps: doesn't he look like the poster child for a man of simple tastes?
Spent last weekend with these cuties! We walked around London for hours and I was so happy that the weather wasn't too warm or too cold. In Swedish we would call it lagom. Autumn is really doing it for me this year 🍁🌿🍂
Came home a while back from a visit to Sweden and was met by the sight of one of my local pubs looking majestic (or majestical like they say in that film Hunt for the Wilderpeople
It feels like some people are present for every second of your life even if they're not physically close. Two days left until my darling arrives in London again (there's nothing better than sisterhood) ♀️✨
Just a photo of lovely England being pretty (as always).🌿🍃🌿
The cat found a cat sized pillow.
Last summer I went to Bath. In most ways it really was a dream destination for me because I LOVE old buildings. I love old buildings/things/relics so much that I almost peed my pants (disclaimer: slight exaggeration) when I saw the remnants of the old Roman wall outside of the museum of London. If you haven't seen it yet, I would definitely recommend a visit (both to Bath and/or the museum of London). 🤓+🏛️=🖤
I had an idea for a new profile pic so I made a hair piece out of rotten flowers yesterday (which made me smell like potpourri for the rest of the day - surprisingly pungent) and took like 50 photos with the self timer. This was the best one and I couldn't even use it as my profile pic because Bodils butt looks like something weird when it's that small. People who are good at taking selfies - how do you do it?! The struggle is real
Yes Melissa, I still have some more photos from Kew that I want to post 😂😝. This might be the last one for a while though, but then I'll sneak one in when you least expect it.
Last days of summer
One of my favourite people came to visit last week. We talked about stuff that made two grown men look at us in horror, came last at the local pub quiz, listened to weird Russian space music and bought a lot of printed socks (for some reason). It was magnificent.
A forest within a forest within a forest
Susanne the plant whisperer, cultivator of seeds, protector of bees, mother of vegetables. This nerd (pot, kettle - I know) brought a notebook to Kew. I miss her everyday that she's not here.
Trousers that makes my arse look like a Moroccan tiled bathroom: secondhand. Plant-baby: an ivy that I shower with once a week. New tattoo: @p_i_t_m_a_n
This is what summer looks like in Sweden (whaaat no palm trees?! Shocking, I know). I took this photo five years ago of my brother standing at the edge of a cliff. Always thought that he looked a bit sinister in this one (it could be because of the dramatic setting. Or, he could be plotting something. We will never know. Probably for the best now that I think about it).
Yesterday I had cake and prosecco for dinner (aka WIN)
Y tho (Bodil suddenly remembered eating that disgusting spider last night)
Even though I truly love London I'm starting to think that my dream of moving out to the woods to grow vegetables is looking more and more like it's going to happen. I'm fully aware of the fact that I'll probably move out and realise that all I want is to move back. Fortunately, when I'm craving some greenery there's many amazing places in London to go to for some botanical therapy. Let's hope that those homegrown potatoes can wait another year or two.
After dinner naps with this cutie ✔️
Walking home in the rain yesterday made me appreciate how amazing my street is. My neighbours never cut their bushes and trees, which makes everything hang out onto the pavement, and someone even plants flowers around the street lights. I don't know why, but the rain always makes London look extra green.
