Confession: Sometimes my office is organized and calming, but it often looks like this. This is my small group table AFTER I picked a few things up. Thank goodness I didn’t have any groups today. You’re looking at cold coffee, boots that need delivered to a student, lesson plans that need filed, resources that need to be copied, paper that needs cut, thank you cards that need written, kindness posters that were donated by a parent, $10 so I can wear jeans the next 8 days until break, and my personal favorite... a book called Fat and Skinny that was written in 1970 and needs to be removed from our school library. 😳 #happymonday
My parents’ aussie doodle, Molly! 🎄
I shared this image with our parents on Class Dojo and got a great response! Such important reminders about praise. I love how easy @classdojo makes it to send quick reminders to families!
My favorite way to wrap up my self-esteem groups! Students write positive words about themselves around their self-portrait. Students always tell me that they hang these up in their bedrooms! 😍 Looking for a way to spice up your self-esteem lessons? I have a digital project coming soon! Comment if you’re interested and I’ll message you when it’s ready! 💻
Our 3rd graders performed The Nutcracker Suite today and it was so cute! How great are these nutcrackers that they made in art to go along with their program?! I love that our school is filled with student art. ❤️💚❤️💚❤️
Grief is hard.
