  • These cottages originally were the home to weavers who worked spinning and weaving combed worsted (worsted was a high-quality wool). They have been modernised to accommodate all technological needs and requirements. As well as being as energy efficient as physically possible, the cottages also provides a warm, homely environment due to the specification of both the Acoustic and Thermal Insulation. The aim from the outset was to incorporate contemporary living in to these period properties internally and therefore, from an external perspective, the general consensus was to achieve the same combination: as a result, the front of the property has been refurbished like-for-like with authentic Timber Sash Windows and exact replicas of the original doors hung with the original Iron Mongery, which has been retained, treated and re-used. #Altrincham #Cheshire #PeriodProperty #buildersofinsta #buildersofig #manchesterbusiness
